New to me. Great! Thanks for sharing

Why questions imply an ambiguity that allows the answer to be either inadequate or indefinitely unsatisfying.

How to fake your fitbit data and add 37 "active minutes" and thousands of steps: Forget to take your fitbit one out of your trousers when you put them in the washing machine ;-) The darn thing still works!

Don't laugh - Can systemd REPLACE acpi ?  Or does systemd NEED acpi to trigger things?

Background: Lenovo Thinkpad/ Archlinux/some troubles with fan speed, suspend, sleep etc.  I want the easiest solution, no unnecessary layers of abstraction......

Could I boot acpi=off and let systemd handle all things like fan speed, sleep/hibernate/poweroff, battery charging, backlight etc?

Thanks for answers (or point me to the docs - yes I did read before I came here) :-)

Take a look at the [tlp ArchWiki page](https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/TLP) for the "additional scripts" mentioned by +Roman Bysh

Is it me?  I have no troubles learning new programs. But when I work with Microsoft Sharepoint (don't ask, work) my head explodes.

* Learning how to work with Vim, R or Typo3 ? I did that.
* Compiling a custom kernel? Learned that too.
* Uploading a document to Sharepoint and later deleting it? Editing the layout of a page? It took me  _hours_ of Googling and cursing.  Plus, I found out that I needed  local (?!), Windows-only (?!) apps for several administrative tasks in Sharepoint........

So, am I too dumb for Sharepoint? Am I the only one who feels this way?
