There is one more week left for the public to make their supporting comments regarding the Perth Floating Helipad that we have been working on since August 2013.

We would love your support in our proposal which will certainly build more interest in the tourism opportunities of Perth and the surrounding local and regional areas.

Skyline Aviation Group Perth has been working closely with the City of Perth and the Department of Parks & Wildlife, Western Australia, ensuring our proposal meets the high standards and strict requirements laid out by their planning and environmental departments.

It gives us great confidence in seeing that our proposal has been the preferred design by the Council of the City of Perth because of its simplicity. Our design provides an environmentally sound floating structure that has a very minimal visual impact of the Swan Riverpark and the Riverside Drive locality. The mobile ticketing office is unique in that it will only ever be on site during opening times when flights are available to the public. We have also provided a detailed acoustic noise data analysis to ensure the helicopter operations have a minimal impact on local businesses and residence.

We have established working relationships with the local businesses of Barrack Square and Elizabeth Quay and created an open line of communication to address any concerns or queries that may arise in the lead up to, and during, the operation of the floating helipad. We have already addressed queries from various departments, businesses and local organisations such as our nearest neighbours, the WA Rowing Club.

With your support we can build a network that collectively promotes the City of Perth and its local businesses as well as the environmental importance of the Swan River.

If you wish to support our unique tourism business, please email rivers.planning@dpaw.wa.gov.au with the Subject Heading of:Part 5 2015_3520,3641 Floating Helipad and associated facilities.
