Best bloody Mary ever. Asked for cocktails not on the menu and the bar man knew how to make them and was very accommodating. Was very impressed. Highly recommended!

Massive under bridge halls filled with wine cellars, self service wine tasting machines, wine knowledge exhibition and corporate functional room. Came here on both business and personal occasions, very impressed by the selection of wine on offer. The standard self service wine tour involves a 15 minutes minimal introduction on wine drinking etiquette, followed by museum style self guided tour to learn about wine production and tasting. Wine is dispensed by self service credit machines, activated by a pre-paid wine token card. More expensive wine can cost more than 1 token per serving and can take up to 5 in some cases. Wine tasting is an expensive hobby. To have a decent experience, beginner or advanced, you should be prepared to spend £25+ for the class/ tour/ self guided tasting session.

Excellent selection of wines, knowledgeable staff, tasters available - what a great way for any wine lover to wish away an hour. Prices range from £8-9 through to £800+ so there really is something for everyone. There is also the whiskey exchange next door if you fancy something a little stronger. Great place to stop off if you need advice on matching your wine to specific dish or pick up something special for a dinner party.

Great venue and good mini-lecture on wine tasting, quite interesting whether you're a wine fan or not. Wine on offer wasn't great though...

Certain staff members were lovely...others not so much (rude infact)...We had a wowcher deal, so it was perfect for our very first wine tasting experience

A fairly uninteresting talk, but a chance to taste a really huge variety of different wines, which made up for it.

Have had great fun on a number of wine tours here. It's not as exhaustive as it could be, but if you do a guided tasting you do learn the basics and get to try some good wines. Personally, though, we now largely prefer to do the tastings next door, at Laithwaites.
