stayed in an ocean view room. room was neat and clean. very comfy beds. only thing was hotel had vallet parking and they charged 30 dollars per night to park in garage below hotel which any one can do. the free street parking was anyways full. other than that hotel room view was very beautiful.

I had an excellent stay at this property. The staff was excellent. Andrea, Demi, and Roxanne went above and beyond in their service. My room was ready upon arrival and I was able to check in almost 2 hours early. I was also able to check out late. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the ocean view was beautiful. I opted out of the valet parking and add no issue finding parking on the streets. No complaints :)

The staff and experience I had at the Santa Barbara Hyatt ranks at one of the finest at any hotel I've visited. The concierge was very helpful in providing what is forgotten at my previous hotel, offering to have a member of his team bring it directly to my room. I was always greeted politely by all members of their team, and they worked diligently to help my company's event be an enormous success.

Solid hotel. Proximity to beach (across the street), good pool and pool bar, restaurant decent. Room a bit dated but still good.

Gorgeous views of the ocean, nice and comfy bed from posterpedic, bathroom could be cleaner (had hair stuck to walls) and parking is pain, unless you pay 28 $ to valet park your car. Street is noisy rooms have good sound proofing.

Not bad but not great. Hotel looks great from the outside but for the price rooms leave a lot to be desired. That said it was clean and quiet despite being right by the lobby.

I had a great stay at the Hyatt Santa Barbara. Partly because right when I stepped on the property I was greeted warmly by the valet staff, who didn't even know if I was a guest or not. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She was able to check us in earlier and was accommodating to me and my family. I didn't get her name but I think it was Demi? Probably the best customer service I've received in a long time. Rooms are appropriately designed. I say that meaning that it gives a "beachy" feel to them. I think the Hyatt does a good job in designing demographically. I would consider staying at the Hyatt again for my next visit in Santa Barbara.

Expected better. Con - Room amenities were just okay. Woke up to find a little cockroach in the shower. Pro - Food at the restaurant was very good and the proximity to the beech was excellent.
