I would like to take a moment to dedicate this song to.. well...Mistah Lionel Richie! For a few reasons: 1.) We're fortunate enough to still have him here with us. 2.) He makes me feel like starting a conga line. ~makes strangelyfuntribal sounds~ \o/

Let the music play on... (play on, play on, play on..;)~

週日的午飯吃早一點,因為下午比較忙。
這雨下個不停,都看不到陽光了。
有機蓬哈菜、炒包菜、番茄炒蛋、白切家鄉鹹肉,吃飯。

:: Food For Thought...

Consider the following qualities:

Confident - Humble
Courageous - Prudent
Tenacious - Gentle
Honest - Compassionate
Decisive - Flexible
Disciplined - Playful
Strong - Vulnerable
Deliberate - Spontaneous
Discerning - Intuitive
Outgoing - Introspective

Which quality do you value more in each pair? Is there any doubt that most of us tend to choose up sides between qualities, valuing one in preference to its opposite?

The less compelled we feel to defend who we are, the more energy we have to invest in becoming the best version of ourselves. Greatness demands both decisiveness and flexibility, courage and prudence, strength and vulnerability, action and introspection. The true measure of greatness is our capacity to navigate between our opposites with agility and grace — to accept ourselves exactly as we are, but never to stop trying to get better.

Personally? I consider it a talent to be able to turn on a dime - when needed. Why does it have to be one way or the other? It's not "good or bad" "light vs.dark". Flig that. Embrace all sides of yourself. It's a life skill. Besides the fact that I rather enjoy having my cake and eating it too Walkin' That Line. Mmh. - just like the Johnny Cash I Walk The Line *chomp*
