Yes and don't forget the wonderful job they do wrapping the individual fruits to protect them and make them more attractive gifts.
 
I live in JApan..i really understand this really well...but is more a business choice since have something is good is not enough in japan.just being good you are already doomed.the best survives.that is how hard is.
