Triangular bandage or 2, Israeli bandage, one of those roll-up splints, tick remover. Also some disposable scalpels might work better than an exacto knife.

- Good call on the triangular bandage.
Israeli bandage and roll-up splint is in the trauma bag.
I have NEVER gotten a tick remover to work properly.
Scalpels... they're worth investigating but I don't know much about them (especially blade sizes/shapes) and I'm unclear in what ways they are superior to an X-acto knife. Can you enlighten me, please?Nov 14, 2014
This is the tick remover I have used successfully:
Disposable scalpels are already sterile and I would imagine they would cut better. They would also be less prone to rust. They aren't too expensive either:
Of course if you are at the point where you need to use one something very bad has happened.Nov 15, 2014
