My car buying experience was quick and easy here, I knew that I wanted a car, I understood that my salesman, Trask, wanted to do what was best for me, at the same time knowing amd respecting that his time was valuable, we reached an agreement in no time at all! I've bought and sold 25 cars in my lifetime and this was far and away my best experience. Michael Kasper is your go to guy for sales. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Probably should call him directly because the sales staff uses a rotating system for new customers. I was in and out of there within 3 hours after arriving including the financing. Again, best car buying experience ever. I will be back next time I need an auto.

just bought mazda cx5 touring 2016 with Dimitry. He is such a good guy so friendly and he got everything I needed. Fast service and good deal! really recommended this dealership and all of the staff there. Thankyou Ron Tonkin mazda for making my dream comes true

Great experience, best price by far on a gently used CX-5. Our sales guy Mike Kasper was genuine, straightforward and easy going. If you head to Ron Tonkin Mazda on 122nd - seek him out.

Working with Scott Barney at Ron Tonkin Mazda was the best car buying experience I have had. I have purchased many new cars. I admit I was leery of Tonkin because of past reputation but not any more. Everything was great and very low pressure or stress. I highly recommend scott

I walked into Ron Tonkin Mazda, ready for a (verbal) fight. I was really angry with a service/parts-related situation where I felt I was wronged. Being the cynic that I am, I figured I'd get the "run around" by a series of salesmen and "yes men" who would pass me on from person to person, never solving my problem (I've had that kind of situation with other dealerships in the past). I have to admit, the exact opposite was the case. As soon as the dealership was made aware of my grievance, I was quickly taken directly to Adam Johnson, who is the highest-ranking staff member at the dealership. Admittedly, I was surprised that I'd have the opportunity to speak to the highest-ranking staff member. Adam patiently listened to my *very angry* grievance. I thought he did a great job of understanding my perspective and my point of view. Not only was Adam patient and understanding, he immediately put a plan in action to resolve my issue. I was put in contact with Parts Manager Ron Miller, who has worked hard to take care of my issue. Mistakes in business happen; that's inevitable. As a small business owner, I know first-hand that mistakes are always going to happen. I measure a company NOT by their mistakes, but how they respond to mistakes. And I have to say that Adam Johnson, Ron Miller, and Ron Tonkin Mazda handled this situation perfectly. Adam's efforts prove to me that this is an A+ service company, and I'll gladly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a car. They've earned a customer for life.

I'm changing my review. I was initially pretty annoyed that the salesperson I dealt with kept trying to deal with objections I didn't even had - telling me that a one year old Mazda at another dealership would be "buyer beware" (uh... so your cars are crap?) and lecturing me about reliability of other brands. I knew that I wanted a Mazda, so his disparaging of other makes wasn't even necessary. He clearly wasn't listening to me. But then his boss (Kathy) called in response to my complaint, and she was really helpful. She still couldn't get me the car I was looking for (apparently the manual transmission vehicles get snapped up), but she kept me well informed. Essentially: it's a car dealership. You are going to get pressure. Push back if necessary.

I highly recommend buying a car from this location. The salesmen were laid back, and never pressured us into buying a car at any point. The first time I test drove cars, I worked with Leon Jones. He walked us through the entire car, and never pushed us into buying at any point. He spent the time making sure we were well educated on the vehicle and what was included for the price. Later the same day, I returned with my parents and was greeted by Trask Sampson. We test drove the car that I was interested in and he educated my family on the car, and again, never pushed us into buying. When we finally did decide to buy, he walked us through the whole process and explained it thoroughly. He even was kind enough to buy us snacks when we got hungry! Later when we moved onto the Financing portion, Zach Moser was great! He walked us through all the financing, and explained packages. He was very up front about whether the packages were worth the money or not, since he had bought the same car himself. He never tried to sway us into getting something we didn’t want. Overall, it was a very positive, and relaxed buying experience. I personally would return in the future, and highly recommend others to do the same!
