My car buying experience was quick and easy here, I knew that I wanted a car, I understood that my salesman, Trask, wanted to do what was best for me, at the same time knowing amd respecting that his time was valuable, we reached an agreement in no time at all! My husband and I are both SO excited to be the proud new owners of a 2016 Mazda CX-5, our dream car! First time for both of us purchasing a new car and Michael Kasper made us feel comfortable and genuinely taken care of. He was very patient and took time to really listen and helped us pick out what ended up being the perfect fit for us. When it came to financing (understandably the area I was most apprehensive about) he again listened patiently and continued to work with their finance specialist until we decided on a plan that everyone could be happy with. When I discovered a small inperfection in one of the leather seats Mike again went to bat for us to rectify the situation. Kudos to Mike & Ron Tonkin Mazda!

Kathy is hands down the most pleasant, funny and accommodating sales person! She came in on her day off to work with me. I knew I wanted a Mazda CX-5 and she made it happen. There was no pressure, she's very honest and upfront about everything. She was with me through the whole process and even helped me set up my Bluetooth before leaving. The whole vibe of the dealership is nice and chill. Everyone seems to get along. My husband and I have bought two cars from them and we'll always go back. Thanks Kathy Melchiorre!

I can't believe how atrocious the customer service is at this dealership. I purchased a vehicle in September 2015 and never received the registration. I called them in January and was told it would be dealt with. It is now March and I'm back on the phone, waiting on hold, listening to excuses and *still* don't have the registration for this vehicle. They don't even know where it is or what they're doing. The vehicle I purchased is great and I feel like I got a good deal but my experience with this dealership overall is awful and I will never return here again. I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere until this place can be run more effectively.

Looking for a used car. The only good thing that I really liked about this whole experience was talking to Trask from the internet sales department. Was told that the car I was looking at would be pulled so that I could test drive it the next day. Fast forward to the next day. I get there meet with Kyle who Trask told me I'd meet with due to him being out of the office. Anyways not only did it not get pulled for me but it also got sold earlier that afternoon. Cars looked horrible and are definitely not worth 15K+. The only car there that was in my price range was a manual. So disappointed I was looking forwards to buying something.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my positive experience at Ron Tonkin Mazda. My sales person was Michael Kasper. We had gone down to look at cars, the Mazda CX-5 in particular, over 6 months ago. He was extremely helpful and did not pressure us in anyway. He even showed us a print out of the Best and Worst Car Brands that showed the most reliable cars, best driving vehicles, and consumer reports. We weren't ready at that time, but promised we would come back. Last weekend I had called him telling him that we were now ready to purchase the Mazda CX-5 and he remembered us right away. I know this because he remembered us because my kids got super excited over one particular feature. He was able to run my credit over the phone, get all the appropriate papers ready, and make this a very smooth process so all I had to do when I arrived was have all my paperwork in order and finalize a few last details. Not only did the whole process go extremely smoothly, but each department seemed to be in sync with each other. The financing department handled everything that they needed to and Michael went over, in detail, all the wonderful features of the car and answered all my questions. And believe me, I ask a lot of questions. lol. I purchased the package to have all my maintenance for the car included up to 45,000 miles. It's effortless because they even help you schedule appointments for your services and said that they loan you a rental if you need one. I feel that Michael was extremely thorough and friendly. I never felt pressured. I've had the car just about a week now and can not tell you how happy we are. It's a pleasure to drive it and it has all the wonderful modern technical features that make life that much easier. I would highly recommend this dealership, sales person, and Mazda CX-5 to others. I went here to test drive a car and speak to Mike Casper after reading the reviews and I have to say they don't do this place or the man justice. The staff all made my fiancée and my self feel so welcome and at home even offering to make us coffee and bring it out to us while we were walking around the lot. Mike went above and beyond to get me a deal I could afford for the car I wanted. If you want a car go here. Your search is over period. The entire staff was so friendly, patient, and understanding it really blew us away. I would never have believed before that you could get service like this at a car lot. Jeff GOwins who works with Mike was one of the nicest people I've met since coming to Oregon and it was my pleasure to talk with him and have him show me all the features of my new car. I went in with little and left with so much more then I expected. The only crime committed today was by Google for not letting me give them 10 stars. On behalf of me and my soon to be wife I thank you all again.

I want to say thanks Ron Tonkin Mazda at 122nd Ave for helping me to get my new Mazda CX-5. Dmetry went above and beyond during the closing process, despite not being the sale's representative that I initially worked with. Before making my final decision I visited several dealerships (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Mazda); however since I already owned 2008 Mazda Tribute and my experience with this car had been really good, I was inclined to get another Mazda. As such, I reached out to the same sale's consultant (Mr. Kasper) that I had worked with back in 2008 and I showed him my interested in buy a new car. If you've ever had the experience of buying a car you probably know how much time the sale's representative spends going back and forth showing you numbers based on the manager's sale's strategy. During my first visit I played the game and the manager “Mr Kalantari” was very generous by giving me a really good deal. However, I was not ready to make a final decision yet as I was just checking prices while my regular car was in for routine service. For the following two weeks I was bombarded with several calls asking when I would be back, but I was still doing my homework. Unfortunately the day that I set up to meet at the dealership again I ended up at the hospital and had to wait a couple of weeks to start evaluating my car options again. I established that President’s Day would be the day to get the car, otherwise I’d wait to re-check the market. What was funny was that when I brought my car back in for service again to complete some recommended services I walked-through the sales area and the sale's consultant (Mr. Kasper) ignored me. I didn't take it personally I just realized that car salesmen lack of some important social skills. I went to get a quick lunch, and when I came back I saw again the same sale's consultant and told him that it was very unpleasant that he ignored me, but that I was back because I wanted to check the Mazda CX-5 again. He introduced me to a co-worker who could assist me while he was finishing with another buyer, but said he would be back as soon as he came. Dmetry was very patient with me because at that point I was really frustrated, and he was able to really understand what I wanted and he didn’t play that game of showing me a bunch price options. He mentioned to his manager “Mr Kalantari” what I was expecting and Mr Kalantari not only honored what he offered me during my first visit, but he went beyond my expectations and made an offer that was impossible to say NO to. From there on Dmitry Pastchenko worked really hard to complete all the paperwork. Even though I was not able to take the car home that day at because I had another commitment, the next day Dmitry coordinated for a Mazda staff member to pick me up at work and drive me to the dealership to sign all the documents with the finance Specialist “ Zach Moser” who made sure that I understood every single document before I signed it. The experience would have been the best if Mike Kasper hadn't acted as rude as he did. He was around in the sales area, but never went back to check with me while I was waiting for Dmistry to finish his part, even when I went to pick up my new car he acted like I was invisible, and I was very disappointed that Dmitry had to share a commission with this person. Mr Kasper you must learn how to be courteous and empathetic. To the rest of the Mazda staff FIVE STARS.

Excellent customer service, knowledgeable sales people and left happy with the exact car I wanted. This is my second car I have purchased from Ron Tonkin Mazda and definitely recommend the team here. When I arrived to look at the car they had it pulled up in the front waiting for me to test drive. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and showed be how to pair my phone to my car once I purchased the car and was ready to drive away a happy customer. Thank you for a great car buying experience, I will definitely buy my next car here.
