"Cuoco" is the Italian word for "cook" and the inspiration for showing off our chefs in an open kitchen. We feature handmade pastas and other hearty entrees. Private dining also available.

An amazingly intimate and contemporary atmosphere that offers a nice escape from bustling Seattle. I enjoyed the pork chop as my main course and it was prepared perfectly; I regret letting my girlfriend try it because she spent the rest of the meal trying to steal it...

The atmosphere was the first thing that stood out to me when I walked in. Great feel for an Italian place. It's an awesome neighborhood. Definitely getting the squid ink noodles again the next time I'm in.

We went to Cuoco on a Friday after work and caught the tail end of their happy hour. We ordered a couple of things from the HH menu, then got entres from the regular dinner menu. Everything was fantastic! My favorite were the meatballs - the sauce on them was absolutely perfect. My husband and I each got a pasta dish as well - me the butternut squash ravioli and he the tagliatelle with some kind of braised meat. A lot of their pasta is hand-made as well and they have a nice selection of wine and other mixed drinks. Definitely a nice place to go for date night!

I wished I could have given this restaurant four stars... The whipped ricotta was unbelievable delicious, but I ordered the halibut and the fish was dry like a piece of wood... Maybe it was just my particular piece or I should have went with another entree option. However, overcooked and dry fish is a criminal offense... And one that Cuoco definitely commited.

This Tom Douglas hit specializes in modern Italian fare with handmade pasta. Located on the Amazon campus in South Lake Union, this is usually a busy spot, but the restaurant and bar are roomy enough to accomodate a large crowd. I recommend the mussels, but you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

Maybe it was just that day but the worker was particulary not very nice.

Amazing food and service. I had to order two things because it was that good.
