Easily one of the most amazing, inspiring, and thoroughly unsurprising things I have ever read. For those of us who love his movies, it will reinforce what we've always known: that there was a man with a tremendous heart behind them all. If you love his movies too, read this and thank Alison.

(I know I posted the exact same thing on FB, but it's way too awesome not to share here.)

Introduction
I hate these little boxes that implore me to say something about myself.  What is there to say?

There are some things that I'm awesome at.
I am secure enough in my knowledge of grammar that the terminal preposition no longer bothers me in casual speech.
I can sing better than you.
I can act better than most people you've seen in movies.
I'm a better writer than Dan Brown, just, perhaps, not as imaginative.
I find inappropriate things hilarious.
I have strongly-held beliefs.  They are usually liberal in nature.  I think that if you raise the worst off in society, you raise society overall.  You are welcome to disagree, but you're wrong and I'll be more than happy to tell you why.
Most movies suck.
Kurt Vonnegut was the man.
I miss Scrubs.
I need a job.
