Yes please! #ipad
This video shows an "Imagined" iPad 3 -- it would be transparent and rimless. Pretty neat video, done up as if it were an actual Apple advertisement. (Story on the video: http://bit.ly/sb8A3K) There's another Apple rumor I actually need help on. I'm thinking about getting a new Macbook Air, but I want a larger screen than what is currently available. Is it going to happen, and when?

Love this!
Have you ever wondered what a person who takes care of dying people may have learned through the experience? Bronnie Ware worked in palliative care and eventually wrote both a blog post and book with the intriguing title: Top 5 Regrets of the Dying. Over 3 million people have read her blog entry. It's fascinating that someone was able to take a "survey" approach to this topic, but still able to share her findings in a heartfelt, humanistic manner. Here are the top 5 reasons she encountered:

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard
3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

From her website (http://bronnieware.com/) it seems she's more of a songwriter/creative type, not a researcher. The original blog post, is here: http://bit.ly/sTfKcx The book she wrote is here: http://amzn.to/vhWtyX I've only had a few people I know die, so I'm more interested in this than most, perhaps. How do you feel looking over the 5 regrets? Mostly it reminds me of why I'm a satisfied, happy person... I don't really have any issues in those 5 areas. I think I could do better with #4 though. :-)

I took this photo about a month ago, coincidentally enough, on "Friend St.," in Pacific Palisades, California. It seemed to go with this post. These two women were just enjoying the view as I came by to take a photo of the clouds/ocean. We talked a bit and I asked them if I could photograph them and promised no one would ever know who they were... :-)
