It's a great drone for the first timers. It's a great drone for kids who want to learn coding. It's a great fun drone for experience drone pilots. It's a great drone for developers.

- from the article: It wasn’t a screed or a rant, but, judging by his document, Damore clearly feels that some basic truths are getting ignored—silenced, even—by Google’s bosses. So in response, the engineer adopted a methodology at the core of Google’s culture: He went to look at the data. “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber” wants to be a discussion of ideas about diversity through solid, ineluctable science.

From the blog - "This manifesto, however, is not part of a healthy dialogue at all. It advances a false equivalence between diversity efforts and discrimination built on a substrate of reasonable statements and context-free references to research. It is just another attempt to disguise prejudice in the clothing of rationalism. History is littered with them, and we can only hope that our work will hasten their consignment to the dustbin of shameful ideas. For those of you with the luxury of reading this latest example without feeling directly threatened by it, understand that crediting the author with “some good points” provides cover for his conclusions, and contributes to a hostile environment for your peers."

There is a reason why alt-right people love James Damore because he pushed their agenda of 'women belong to the kitchen'. It was bad. But what good I see in this whole saga is that it has exposed those in my circle who hold same alt-right views but had been hiding them all along.

Progress on Guardian Sword project. I am not using NeoPixel, as I want to keep the cost low and I want it to be bright even in the day light. So I created and 3D printed LED strip holders. I am using a $7 12v Blue LED strip and then will be soldering a strip of orange LEDs to create the light effect. Hopefully the project will be completed by tomorrow.

Alt-right is more or less a terrorist movement (well it's sugar coated name for Nazi). And I really don't understand what conservatives want? What conversation? To make policies that create different bathrooms for the LGBT community? To get the right to discriminate against those who don't believe in the same religion or are from a different culture? This kind of 'conservatism' is pre-historic belief system. It has no place in modern society. I do support fiscal conservatism, but what has become in US is not that conservatism, it's religious extremism.
