Reciprocate... meaning to share the same feelings or to behave in the same way as someone else.
Pretend a dog is human. If a dog is mans best friend, why are so many used, abused and discarded.

This is a campaign awareness post for the charity Galgos del Sol...

Galgos del Sol (GDS)
ES Regulator (MOI) — Charity Number: CIF:G30856736
UK Regulator (CCEW) — Charity Number: 1158983
US Regulator (IRS) — Charity Number: 46-3856985

GDS rescues, cares, rehabilitates and rehomes hundreds of abandoned Galgo and Podencos dogs, amongst others, each year.

Rescuing galgos is a challenging, unpredictable and often dangerous undertaking. An abandoned galgo that has been living rough may have to be observed and coaxed with food for weeks and sometimes months before it will allow a human near. GDS has rescued galgos that have

been thrown into wells, lain injured in fields, tossed into dumpsters, run scared in traffic, given birth on a roadside and left to die in abandoned breeding camps. A galgo sighting may occur at anytime so GDS is perpetually on call.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our donors the Galgos del Sol Education and Rescue Centre is fully functional and growing!

Get your inner city kicks on and go spread some snow.
Finding it hard to confirm, to fit in, to kill off the heat?
Change that lifestyle...
Snow-Camp might be the answer you never saw yourself into.

This is a charity awareness post...

Snow-Camp
UK Regulator (CCEW) Charity Number: 1101030
SC Regulator (OSCR) Charity Number: SC043344

Who We Support
Snow-Camp work with a range of young people, aged 13-21, across the UK.
We work directly with youth projects and youth service providers to ensure that we are working with those who are most in need of our support. The young might be failing in school, or have dropped out altogether, they might have committed juvenile crimes and now struggle to find employment or they’re on a negative life-path and need support to change their direction. They could also, simply, just need someone to believe in them.

Our Programme Journey
Motivating young people to fully engage is the key to successful youth work and the young people we work with are traditionally hard to engage. However, we have found that snowsports are incredibly attractive to inner-city young people, despite being out-of-reach for many. The opportunity to participate in snowsports acts as the tool with which we can effectively engage young people and maintain a positive involvement with them.

DISCRIMINATION... who likes it? Women don't like it, men don't like it, people of colour don't it, therefore races don't like it.
Then why should a people of culture be sectioned by it?

This is a public awareness post:

The Traveller Movement
UK Regulator (CCEW) — Charity Number: 1107113
The Traveller Movement (TM) was established in 1999 as a second-tier community development group limited by guarantee, following the recognition of a gap in service provision and the marginalisation of the Irish Traveller community in Britain, the TM gained charitable status in 2003.

Following a recognised demand on the services, impact, capabilities and reach of our work, TM expanded its remit in 2008 to include work with all other Gypsy Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities across Britain.

We appointed a new CEO, developed a new strategic business plan and changed our name to The Traveller Movement in 2013 to reflect our wider reach and work. The Traveller Movement was instrumental in the development of the Traveller Law Reform Project (TLRP) and managed the project for a few years. Under TMs management together with the steering group at the time the project won the Law Society Human Rights Award in 2004.

Core Values:
We believe that discrimination is wrong
We are opposed to racism in all its forms
We value and promote diversity
We believe in equality of access to services and in equality under the law
We value and promote self-determination, believing that individuals have the right to make choices about issues affecting them
We endorse the Declaration of Human Rights
We value the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller identities and cultures
We work in partnership with the Gypsy Roma and Traveller communities

Our Vision: is of a world in which members of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Communities reach their full potential; where they are accepted, proud of who they are and have an equal voice

Our Mission: is to develop a platform and voice for Travellers, working in solidarity with Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, within the UK and across Europe, to achieve equality through self-determination and proactive participation in influencing and shaping policy

Budapest Bike Maffia
HU Regulator (MOJ) — Charity Number: 24355524-1-42

Budapest Bike Mafia (BBM) is one of the most dynamic growing civil organisations in Hungary, which was brought to life by young cyclists at Christmas 2011. The organisation consists of civilians who innovatively carry out direct work for those in need.

Our core activity is fundraising, and then bidding these donations to those in need. Realisation is characterised by novelty, combining elements of social work with volunteering, donation, and cycling.

This is a charity awareness post.

Homelessness is on the increase in every major city across the globe and it is set to get radically worse.

Please blog about helping Kids for Life - Helping Kids for Life is something to be proud of!

Cardiac arrest in young people happens all over the world, but there is a device that can be a lifesaver if known where to find it.
The charity SADS UK explains the need for access to these essential devices in public places.

Do you know the signs of modern day slavery? Does your family know? Do your friends know? Do you know anyone that knows?
Slavery, here and now is real, but hidden.
Unseen is a charity that can help with that.
Video: https://goo.gl/b7MqUd
Web: https://www.unseenuk.org/modern-slavery/modern-slavery #charityneeds @UnseenOrg

The following is a campaign awareness post...

Unseen UK
UK Regulator (CCEW) Charity Number: 1127620)

At Unseen we are working towards a world without slavery.

It’s a big aim and a big task, but we believe we can do it. By concentrating our efforts on three main areas - supporting, equipping and influencing - we can start to tackle the issue in a way that really works.

Our specialist care is the first step in the fight against slavery. Through supporting survivors, our provision gives them a safe place to recover from trauma and rebuild their lives.

Our practices are researched thoroughly, enabling us to identify the key issues surrounding slavery and exploitation, and equipping ourselves and others with effective, targeted solutions.

We also recognise the importance of influencing the systems that keep slavery hidden. Tackling issues such as supply and demand are vital if we are going to eradicate slavery.

We hope that one day our work is no longer needed. That by working in partnership with communities, business, governments and other organisations we can stamp out slavery for good. But while there are victims of trafficking, we want to be here to offer them the safety, hope and choice they deserve.
