I think the trick to meaningful work is to choose to love what you do. Floundering around looking for your "soul mate" of a job isn't likely to work.

Full disclosure: never actually had service. Didn't make it past very first encounter with customer service: Me: *calls number for local office* TWC: *lol, redirect to India.* TWC: "Thank you for calling TWC how can I help you?" Me: "I'd like to know how much it would cost for Internet in my apartment." TWC: "Can I get your address?" Me: *gives address* TWC: "Can I get your last name and phone number?" Me: *...don't like this, give anyway* TWC: “After this call is terminated, TWC has permission to call you at this number with additional services/promotions, is this correct?” Me: “...No. No, you do not have permission.” TWC: “OK, you want Internet and phone, is this correct?” Me: “...No. No, I just want Internet.” TWC: “OK, what are you planning on using the Internet for? Listening to music? Playing games?” Me: “...I want 3-5 Mbps.” TWC: “OK, what kind of computer do you have? Desktop? Laptop?” Me: “...” Me: *click*
