Leader Newspapers once ran a column called "Dear Cinderella". In 1914, 10 yo Nicholas Dix, from near Merino, wrote to Cinderella about his father's farms. Forty years later, Nicholas was Chief Petty Officer with the R.A.N. and a winner of a Meritorious Service Medal. Read his letter and those from other children in today's Trove Tuesday post.
