This Atlanta Raccoon left a Surprise for Tim

When Tim opened up this attic access door, a pile of insulation full of raccoon scat fell out. Tim was not pleased.

He'll get even, though. Rid-A-Critter provides raccoon trapping, removal, damage repair, and exclusion in the City of Atlanta and throughout the Metro Area -- and this house is no exception.

Raccoon Trapped in the Attic of a House in Roswell

This raccoon in the attic of a Roswell home tore the insulation off the walls and piled up the blown-in insulation in areas where it wasn't doing any good. But we caught it. It's in the trap, although you can't see it because the door is closed.

Rid-A-Critter's North Georgia office provides raccoon trapping, removal, exclusion, and damage repair, as well as insulation replacement services, in Roswell and throughout Fulton County, Georgia. Insulation Contaminated with Poop and Pee in the Attic of a House in Stockbridge, Georgia

Here's a lovely picture of what appears to me to be flying squirrel poop and pee in the attic of a house in Stockbridge. Obviously, the insulation will have to be replaced. It can't be cleaned.

Fortunately, Rid-A-Critter just happens to provide insulation removal, disposal, and replacement in Stockbridge and throughout Henry County, Georgia. Please visit us at https://atlanta.ridacritter.com/insulation-replacement-atlanta.php to learn more about this important service.

Squirrel Scratch Marks on an Air-Conditioning Duct in Atlanta

It looks like the homeowners dodged a bullet this time around. The squirrels started to scratch at this insulated HVAC duct, but the damage was minor enough that it can be fixed with tape. A lot of times all the flexible ducts have to be replaced and the rigid ducts cleaned and decontaminated in these cases. It's not an inexpensive job.

If you year scratching noises in your attic or through your heating and air-conditioning registers, call us right away. These problems only get worse if ignored, never better.

You can learn more about our safe, non-chemical squirrel removal services in Metro Atlanta by visiting us on the Interwebs at https://atlanta.ridacritter.com/squirrel-removal-atlanta.php.

Mouse Entry Hole Under a Deck on a House in Atlanta

Chris had to get on his belly to find this mouse entry hole under a deck in Atlanta. The mice were getting through the gap around the pipe where it passed through the foundation into the basement. The yellow stains on the pipe are just sloppy cementing, by the way, not mouse urine.

Rid-A-Critter doesn't treat mouse problems by tossing bags of poison around the house like most companies do. We find every place where a mouse could get into the house, and seal them all up to make the house mouse-proof. For more information about this environmentally-responsible, poison-free approach to mouse control, please visit us on the Web at https://atlanta.ridacritter.com/mouse-control-atlanta.php.

Improperly-Installed Foundation Vent Allowed Rats into a House in Atlanta

Someone went through the trouble of covering this vent with hardware cloth to keep rodents out, which was good. But they didn't properly secure the vent itself to the house, which was not so good. Rather than gnawing through the vent, that rats were able to just squeeze through the opening in the upper left corner when the vent.

I don't know whether the vent fell inward on its own or was pushed by the rats, but it really doesn't make a difference. The vent wasn't properly secured, and it allowed rats to get into the house. That's the important part.

Fortunately for the homeowner and for the fine people of Atlanta, Rid-A-Critter provides safe, non-chemical rat control and rat-proofing in Atlanta and throughout the Metro Area. Please visit us on the Web at https://atlanta.ridacritter.com/rat-removal-control-atlanta.php to learn more about our innovative, non-toxic rat control solutions.

Long-Standing Squirrel Infestation in Atlanta

Nick was surprised to find that squirrels in this Atlanta home were using literally the entire ceiling void as a nesting area. There was nesting material covering nearly every inch.

This situation will be tough to clean up because there's very little room to maneuver in there. But there's really no choice. The nesting material and squirrel wastes present both health and fire risks.

Rid-A-Critter's Metro Atlanta office provides squirrel removal, exclusion, and clean-up services throughout the Metro area. We'll get the situation taken care of for this homeowner, and make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Squirrel Hole in the Soffit of a House in Athens, Georgia

Brandon sent in this picture of a rotted soffit in a house in Athens that an enterprising, if perhaps lazy squirrel used to get into the roof.

Judging by the location, I'd guess that the downspout for the rain gutter got clogged up at some point, flooding the soffit and rotting the panel. This isn't unusual. Moisture problems and animal problems frequently coexist. Sometimes the animals cause them, and other times they take advantage of them.

Rid-A-Critter provides squirrel trapping, removal, and damage repair throughout Athens-Clarke County, Georgia. Please visit us at https://athens.ridacritter.com/squirrel-removal-athens-ga.php to learn more about our squirrel-control services.
