Great Aquarium store, drove 40 minutes to get here. Very nice sales reps and they were extremely helpful, helped me load my fish tank into the car. They have a great selection of plants, freshwater and saltwater fish. And the most tanks I have seen in one place with a nice selection of stands. Pricing is on par with everywhere else in terms of fish equipment.

My go-to place for anything fish/aquarium related. Employees are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, I highly recommend this place to my friends and all fish lovers. Even stopping in to look around is like taking a trip to a mini aquarium!!

Great selection of aquatic life. It's kinda like going to an aquarium that you pay for admission except you can buy whatever you see 😀. Staff was very informative when I asked about starting a fish tank and was not pushy to make a sale or to try to upsale me.

I have been going to tropiquarium for roughly four years now and have had mixed experiences there. Usually I get great service, but sometimes the service can be sub-par with only a brief "do you need anything?" The dry goods half of the store is very large and fairly priced. That being said I have only bought things such as algae scrapers and filter socks from this side and this occurs very occasionally. (I buy most of my dry goods online) I have bought both fresh and saltwater from trop and I do agree with most people saying that the freshwater tanks are generally pretty standard and are occasionally infected with ich but overall are pretty good. The plant selection is kind of small but it makes sense for the store is focused mainly on saltwater. Speaking of saltwater the saltwater fish stock is generally quite good and the only ailments I see with any regularity are torn fins and rarely inch, which are usually the yellow tangs that are prone to this. Almost all of my fish for my saltwater tanks over the years have been from here and they are generally healthy and survive. ( that is if you hand pick the best specimens and don't take the obviously harmed ones). The coral selection is one of the best around and they are all very healthy. This being said I feel as if the corals are overpriced and I generally order online or from other stores All this being said with aquarium care center opening across the street I have found myself taking most of my business there due to the amazing service and great prices. I still do go to trop (such as tonight) to buy my supplies and livestock. I feel as if tropiquarium has more fish than Acc but the corals are priced too high to compete. All things considered the two stores are completely different styles and cannot be directly compared. Overall tropiquaruim is a really good store and I think it is worth a trip.

Normally my experience with Tropiquarium is a great experience. I come to them for all my aquatic needs. But this last time is most likely going to be my last time. I bought an Angel fish the other day and the following day it was dead in my tank. I had to wait to return it so I kept it in the freezer till I got back from my trip. Now mind you I put this fish in a 60 gallon and purchased two other angel fish and they were fine. So I came to the store with my dead fish and they would not take the fish back cause I did no provide a water sample. I explained I did not know the return policy till I arrived at the store and reviewed my receipt. I explained I shopped here all the time and I spend a lot of money and never return anything and asked for an exception. The manager told me I put the policy on the receipt for a reason. And she made a comment about me driving 15 minutes to get to the store when she though it was an hour. The comments upset me but I stayed calm. I needed more barbs so I asked a male associate to help me. He said the other guy is already in there and pointed. I said he was in the middle of something. He and his manager then proceeded to tell me that he was not working. I accepted the other guy got my fish came back to the register minutes later and guess who it there to ring me up. The same person who was not working. Here are some examples of things I bought with the business, tanks, stands, discus, many other varieties of tropical fish. I have 60 gallon setups in almost every room in my house and I spend 3000-6000 every 6. Months. When I bring that water sample in and get my refund, I will take my business somewhere else.

Love their selection of fish and competitive pricing on their tanks. Staff can be a bit pushy sometimes but other than that I have no complaints.

People in the store just looked us for approximately 15 minutes and my daughter and I are very friendly, they just did not seem to care. Finally had someone help, he knew what he was doing but just seemed to hate his prices were high and their warranties are 1 or 2 advice. Move on. Fish tank owner for more than 30 years.

I visited Tropiquarium in search for a young (few months old if possible) Angelfish and they happen to have quite a few. I have a 36g fresh water tropical fish tank. The reason I wanted a young Angelfish so it could adapt easier in a friendly community filled with 5 neon tetras, 5 glass catfish, 1 white molly, 2 platies, and 1 black molly fry that is over 1 month old. I like their big selection of fish and accessories on site. I’ll defiantly return when I decide to add more fish! As if right now my Angelfish is doing great!
