The previous reviewer got it all wrong. Seems like he took something personal. This in appearance ordinary fast food private restaurant is hiding something rare in the city. I would call them the Schwartz kind of fast food place. Because their fries are the old school kind. Sweet, melting and 'hand cut' style you cannot find anymore in Montreal elsewhere. Better than the fries served in the finest 'a la carte' restaurants. The poutine is tasty, the hod dogs are about regulars.

I got to know the guys that work there very well. I'd go in for breakfast on my way to school and stop in and have a poutine on my way home. Best place to go and eat for cheap. Seriously, 5.75 and you get a huge poutine :)

The best place to eat a good poutine period. Service is fast, food is greasy..but that's what makes it tasty :D. I love the atmosphere of old school fast food. It's great. Whenever i pass by there, I put it upon myself to at least get a hotdog from these guys. Plus, I rather help a small enterprise than a big multinational fast food chain.

Food is ok, nothing exceptional. Price is very reasonable though, less than 6 bucks for a poutine - gravy, fries and cheese -. Service is awful, I was checking the menu - was my first time there - and a short lady asked me what I wanted, when I replied I was still checking she replied with a sarcastic comment 'take your time my friend, we are open until 1am'. The tall guy was not nice either, with a very unfriendly face and molested tone asked me if I wanted my hot dog all dressed, when I asked what all dressed meant he said ketchup and mayo, I said only mayo and it was the most tasteless hot dog ever, it happened that he didn't tell me about the other toppings, which I believe is coleslaw.
