Located at the base of San Clemente pier, the food and views are some of the best in town!! Love the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing!! Some of the best halibut and chips I have ever had... They have a bar on the right side of the pier with a liter menu and a restaurant on the left side of the pier with a full menu.. They also have breakfast for the early riser and some of the best warm sourdough bread in South OC!

We loved it ! My girlfriend and I went here twice. 2.1.16 and 2.14.16. If you like steamed mussels they are excellent. The place is ALWAYS packed on the weekends. If you don't like really big crowds don't go. But for us it added to the experience. People walking by on the pier. And a great place to enjoy a drink and then walk around on the pier too. Highly recommend the place.

My family and I went here for lunch during the week and it was still pretty full for a weekday. There seemed to be enough staff, but it was difficult to get the attention of our waitress. The food itself was bland and flavorless. I had a lunch fish option and it tasted like the fish was boiled although it had grill marks on it, very strange... The food, when brought to the table, the dishes were under metal covers like if you ordered room service at a hotel. I guess they want the customer to be "surprised" that what they receive isn't what they expected. The view was beautiful and this restaurant has a monopoly on food on the pier. I may have had a better experience on the weekend or ordering something fried, which was what most other people were doing...

Best spot to have dinner and watch the sun set on the water. Happy hour drinks and food is the best price. I highly recommend it. If it's chilly, heater lamps are available.

Obviously pricey because it's on the pier. The fish tacos are good as well as more affordable. The oysters are quite tasty as well.

I've been here twice and both times I said to myself that I'll visit this place again if I'm around. Last time I was there after bicycling about 90 miles. I asked a hamburger :) I know this is a Fisherman's restaurant, but the hamburger was excellent. That was the first time I was having such a perfect hamburger.

Show up at 4p-7p, but no later than 6:30p, cause the crash of locals move head downstream and it becomes a comedic snagglefest. This is what you order... Mondays: Italian Sausage, Peppers and Onions, Pasta Salad and Focaccia bread Tuesdays: BBQ ribs, baked beans & coleslaw Wednesdays: 1/4 BBQ chicken, potato salad and veggies Thursdays: Steak tacos, rice, and beans Fridays: 2 Deep fried fish tacos on corn tortillas served with rice and black beans It's A LOT of food. And are you ready for the price? $3. Yep -three dollars. There is a catch though, and the catch is this: You have to order a drink. The waiters and waitresses are obviously trained to push the alcohol; which most people consent to... However, if you go with the beer expect to pay $3-$5 extra. Others go for margaritas or mixed drinks (Long Island Iced Teas). Do this option and expect to pay $5-$6. Sorry, you can't bypass the deal by ordering a water. So what I recommended is a ice tea, coffee, or if you're a carbonated sugar lover -move in that direction. A coffee will run you approximately $1, maybe $1.50 -as of today's date. All in all: Spending under $5 for an entire FULL meal is unheard of these days. I encourage all who read this to use some of the extra savings as opportunities for generosity toward your server. Once you get a feel for how busy and loud that place can get; with as view staff as they have, except for the bartenders -you'll see why. If you're a alcohol affecienado you might appreciate the quickness of most of your drink orders. There's an unspoken code about this place which I'll break right now. Love that the place has approximately 3-5 servers at a time running the place but seems as if there's 4-8 bartenders in a fully stocked bar on the inside. Might be a correlation between the noise level. After all, you're in the area of the pier bowl and except for the establishments along El Camino Real and perhaps Del Mar (The main arteries of this city), this can rank amongst the loudest in a controlled setting. Don't expect to see drunk fools strolling around the pier... It happens, but not occasionally... Go to Huntington or Newport -if you enjoy that act. Actually, come to think about it... There is Knucklehead's Bar (on the north side of town, off El Camino Real in North Beach). There you can see 'likes to fight guy' and the rest of the crew. But I'll save that Yelp entry for later.
