After a bout with #FungusGnats from a big box store potting medium I will be going back to organic mechanics or something similar. I never heard of or experienced the devastating effects from the critters before. Now I'm killing them on sight. (If I'm lucky and they land on something solid)

My focus of late besides a healthy flock of layers has been propogation of figs. Basically taking measures to ensure biodiversity is alive in my own oasis for many years to come. #MicroOrchard on a small urban lot.
