Anyone else sometimes forget to surrender it all to Christ? Sometimes I do...but more and more I'm remembering and trusting to lay it down at the foot of His throne, at the feet which were pierced for me.

Beautiful views you can only appreciate by seeing it for yourself, and unlimited gondola rides across the gorge. My kids had a great time at the Tommy Knocker Playground and actually sat through the short film about the gorge. It's terrible that the park burned down a few years back along with so much history, however they've done a great job rebuilding the park. It's a bit pricey (even with applicable discounts) but the views from the 1230 Café deck help you forget that your wallet is screaming for help after paying for admission, food & drinks, and going through the souvenir shop with four kids :) Very thankful for the unlimited gondola rides, however we do wish the zip line and other recreational attractions weren't so pricey. Staff was absolutely wonderful and pleasant, keep up the great work- they helped make our day there pleasant. Although it's pricey for large families, we're planning on returning yearly because seeing beauty like this is worth the price.

Thanks EGW. It was a welcoming and helpful environment from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. We appreciate a staff member going to the back to pull out frames for our girls to make sure they were getting frames they truly liked. We had more than one person ask if they could be of assistance to us, and we greatly appreciate the friendly atmosphere. Two of our girls were able to receive one pair of their glasses the very next day. We'll be returning customers!

Throughout many years, we have purchased quite a few items of furniture and accessories from AFW. Most of the time the experience is pretty decent, although a few times its been difficult to get a sales person to even look at us. Recently I bought an item that was on display and not in the COS store...we purchased it and waited roughly a week and some change for it to be transported from the Thornton store. I was called to pick it up when it arrived. I went, but when I got there I saw something else that I hadn't seen before that would go better with my decor. All I wanted to do was basically make an exchange. I was referred to three different people...and if it weren't for that third person, this review wouldn't exist. The customer service manager was rude and gave me the strong impression that I was bothersome to her. At first she said she could just credit what I paid for the storage chest (full amount) back to the debit card that was used in the original purchase. I simply asked if she needed the card because the card used was my husbands. Her response was rudely said...sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it. Okay, so now I've been firmly put in my place, in front of my daughter...no, she doesn't need the actual card. Then I asked another question. As she was doing the credit to my bank account, I noticed by reading a notification that it could take several days for the credit to go into my bank account. And I figured that it would just be better to apply the purchase of the bench to the previous purchase of the chest and credit me the remainder rather than fully credit me for the chest and then have me pay for the bench in a separate purchase. Basically just use what I've already paid for in the chest and use it for the bench...credit me the rest. This suggestion seemed to really annoy her when I asked, "wouldn't that be better?" And once again, it's about how a person says something and not what they say. Her tone of voice was belittling and rude..."well what do YOU want to do?" Before I could answer she said, "whatever YOU want to do, just let me know. It's not up me, it's up to YOU." There was obvious annoyance in the tone of her voice, body language, and the manner in which she pushed the receipt from my first purchase aside. My daughter obviously took note, and stepped back from the counter. In the end she ended up doing the exchange. As a manager I would expect her to suggest an exchange rather than a full credit which would take days, and also a full purchase of the other item. It would've appeared as if I made two purchases rather than one at least until the credit was completed. I know perception is ones reality, and I thought maybe I was being overly sensitive...so I waited a full day to write the review and decided to move forward because I don't feel any different than before. A suggestion to the manager of customer service who assisted me. If working with people is not really what you enjoy, please stop. Your annoyance bled through every crevice of your face and body language, and all I did was ask two questions. I'm a pretty soft spoken person who believes in treating others (especially those in service oriented jobs) with respect because I understand it can be challenging. However, the attitude on display was disappointing and that's why I went out of my way to write this review. I sincerely hope you were having a bad day/moment and that this is not how you treat everyone. I also hope you can find employment that you can find truly enjoyable. I also hope that someone from AFW will take note of the low ratings...sure the furniture maybe of decent value at a decent price, but customer service seems to be lacking in several experiences. Customer support needs to be dealt with in this company, and it starts from the top! As of this review AFW has a 2.6 out of 5 stars from 141 reviews...not good!

Snooty Customer Service... this particular location gets a one star for the one person who finally asked if she could help us after we had been there for a decent amount of time. We brought our daughters in for glasses, and as soon as we walked in- something felt off. The receptionist was on the phone, I can give him that much, but not once did he glance up to even acknowledge that he saw us there. We get it- we're not the center of his world nor would we expect to be. Never did we expect him to drop his phone call just because we entered the building, but a glace of acknowledgment or a smile would've been appropriate- but he completely ignored us. It was appropriate for us to stop at the desk because it was a sign-in area but we didn't see a sign-in sheet. So instead of hanging around the desk while he was on the phone we left to look at frames. When we saw that he was off of the phone we began to return to the desk but as we were almost there, the phone rang again and he immediately snatched it up- he could've asked the person to please hold. So we waited again. During this time another worker who had a client with her needed to pass by us. There was no "excuse me" or "let me slip pass you". I just happened to notice someone standing in my peripheral...waiting...looking at me but not saying a word. I haven't figured out if that's creepy or rude...perhaps both. As soon as I saw she needed to get by and that we were obviously in her way, I moved and told my girls to move over. She passed with her client without an "excuse me", "thank you" or anything else. Okay...now we're beginning to feel unwelcome. Still nothing from the receptionist. So we left again to look at frames...finally someone asked if she could help us. My husband explained to her we needed glasses for the girls, and she gave us the rundown of the sale- which we could clearly see on the signs but we're appreciative that she did so anyway. After that...we were pretty much left on our own again. We noticed one worker who really didn't seem to be doing much- it's possible she was waiting on something or someone, but she didn't help much besides pointing us to the restroom. We eventually had enough of being ignored. As we left, the receptionist was not on the phone, but he was looking down at nothing...I assume he didn't want to make eye contact with us, so I made a point to stop by his desk and wish him a good day in which he seemed reluctant to return. We drove down South Academy to Eyeglass World...much better customer service, friendly, inviting and they went out of their way to make sure my girls got into frames they liked. I applaud you Eyeglass World...America's Best will never see a penny of ours!

The Mac Corner saved me $97. I dropped my iPhone 6 on tiled floor and the screen cracked severely. I went by my mobile phone provider, thinking that the insurance I pay for monthly would cover the cost (at least partially) for the repair. They gave me a card to call someone else at a different store (and I went to the corporate store thinking they could handle my situation), and explained to me they needed to send my phone out for repair which will take about 10 days, they'd overnight another phone to me, and the whole shabang would cost $200...not including tax. I called another place, they charged $139 and said it would take 45 minutes. Finally came across The Mac Corner. Fantastic service, only cost me $103 with a military discount and taxes included...and a 6 month warranty included, and it took about 20-30 minutes from the time I hit the door. Couldn't be anymore satisfied. Great job and many thanks Mac Corner!
