One of the best walks in Dublin, right out into Dublin Bay. Views are impressive and it's a great place to watch port traffic coming past. On a sunny day it's calm and stunning, on a stormy day it's a bracing walk and absolutely worth the effort although at times it can be overtopped by storm waves and high tides so take care.

We walked from the Gasworks to the lighthouse one blustery day. It was well worth the effort

Posto molto suggestivo... serve una bella scardinare per arrivarci, ma ne vale la pena...

One of the most lovely walks in Dublin, in all weathers but dress appropriately. : Panoramic views of the city like none other. A hiden gem

I went to Poolbeg Lighthouse for many times, always walking from my home to there (around 8 km far away). Always walking alone. I remember the last time I've been there was august 29, 2012, when opportunely I left a origami under a chair. That was like my goodbye to Dublin. At that occasion I was living in front of five lamps... so if my brain is not failing, I had to walk 16 km to go and come back home and as I said before, I did it many times. Was a good time of my life. Good memories from Ireland!

Vale la pena farci un giro. Un po' difficile da raggiungere senza automobile (io ho preso un taxi) è uno dei luoghi di Dublino più suggestivi.
