First, they had rabbit. Second, the waitress were fun and provided excellent service, Overall, a place with A LOT of fun food; from the appetizers to desserts (I had one that I am still having trouble describing - it involved poached blood orange). Overall: AWESOME!

Perfect place to go for drinks after an art opening! The decor is sexy, and a bit gothic. We ordered a bunch of small plates, including the eggplant asada (this was okay), bacon bonbons (everything's f'in good with bacon), lima beans (I usually don't like lima beans, but I have to admit the warm beans with basil, honey and balsamic vinegar was a surprisingly delightful mix), and sardinas en escabeche (yummy too). Would recommend this as a great place for groups, but you can never avoid how you always seem to be short $40 in paying your bill..

Went here for Thanksgiving and it was quite the fun place. Its a mix between a bar, lounge and a hangout. Definitely recommend the bar setting since you get a cool mix of patrons and the Bar Tenders know how to mix some of the smoothest cocktails. Ask for Juan and something off the menu for a fun adventure

4+ for service; 3 for food. Walk into this hidden lane with nice selection of food and wine. Best dishes are rabbit loin and jamon Serrano and the rustic bread. Fish was on the salty side. Service and cozy, romantic ambiance is great for date night and friends.

Very interesting and sexy ambiance and it looks more like a bar than restaurant. We came for dinner and heard good things about it. Dishes are very creative and interesting, but I think I had over-expected a little. It's a place I had tried and do not crave to come back.

Guitane is an excellent addition to the Downtown San Francisco dining scene. The spanish food they serve is unique and incredibly flavorful. The low lit interior creates a sexy and romantic atmosphere!
