Garbage!!! I ordered a simple chicken ceasar salad to go (I'm home studying for the bar exam and I'm sick of the same old junk). I was standing by the maitre'd's podium for about ten minutes. Several staff members walked past me and made eye contact with me, so I KNOW they saw me - yet they completely ignored my presence. My salad was wrapped up sitting on a table near the podium, so after those annoying 10 minutes, I picked it up, dropped some money with the check and walked out. I arrive home and open the bags to find three separate containers. I had to mix the salad myself! The "salad" consisted of a handful of lettuce - no joke...a handful. That's it. The chicken was one small, tasteless cutlet. The dressing was fishy (I know it's made with anchovies, but it never actually smells or tastes fishy). I was annoyed so I called the restaurant. I just paid $15 for a handful of lettuce, a chicken cutlet with no taste, fishy dressing and NO SERVICE. The manager was R-U-D-E. I told him how I was waiting and since nobody helped, I took the salad and left the money. He said "Yeah - I seen that." I seen that! ...clearly not an educated man... Then he said "You seen there's like a hundred people in here." It was somewhat busy, but most of the patrons were around the bar AND and several servers were just leaning against the back wall. They certainly didn't look busy to me. Mr. Manager then explained that this handful of lettuce was $8.95 and the chicken was an extra $6. It was the most unappetizing ceasar salad I've ever tasted. I told him I had not previously been to this restaurant and that now I was fairly annoyed and definitely not impressed. He said "Yeah, so?" Then I told him I would not be back and he said "Good." Total trash.
