Hotel did not handle our arrival well. There were about 100 people there. The location of this hotel makes me thing k that they should be able to handle groups well. Surprised by it. Staff that I have interacted with seem nice. Location is great walking distance to most places.

Excellent service and great on site amenities. We will be staying here for future trips. Grand club is nice as well on floor 12. Free water, drinks, snacks, and plenty of socializing.

Best hotel experience of my life thus far, love the Pur allergy room accomodation, very disability accessible. Main drawbacks: no steady cell signal and weak wifi in downstairs conference area, and in room wifi gets a bit pricey if youll be there more than two nights.

In the heart of Washington DC, Grand Hyatt hotel is hosting some of the most memorable weddings RimasFilms has ever had the honour to film. The hotel is at close neighbourhood to the White House and makes perfect scenery for a romantic wedding. The staff is as always very welcoming and courteous. The Grand Hyatt offered huge ballroom and custom decorations and it just set right in with the timeless and elegant wedding. Grand Hyatt is a venue full of hospitality!

What am amazingly beautiful place! Not only was my welcoming service excellent so we're my room accommodations. The location is central to a lot of sites and activities which makes for great escapes when attending a conference. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future!

If you're only concern is location, this hotel is great as it is centrally located to sites and decent dining. My husband, son, and I stayed here while visiting family over a long weekend. We have been to D.C before and wanted a prime location with more comforts than home. The hotel itself is pretty enough like the photos. Check-in was alright. We were told since the reservation had been booked using points, we would have to check out and check back in the following day as there were separate reservations. I've used points quite a bit and never experienced this, but that can't make or break an experience in my opinion. Self-parking or valet the choice is yours. We used the hotel garage for self-park since we knew we wouldn't be driving anywhere. Fist impressions of the room was that housekeeping had missed a few things. There was a lipstick fairly visible on the floor and a glass of water left on the counter. Again, ok, my husband and I are pretty laid back and it wasn't worth the hassle right then. Hopefully we had clean sheets. I did have to ask more than once for a crib to be brought up. We really didn't settle into our room until nearly 9 pm after walking the city and getting dinner. Any ill thoughts on cleanliness had been pushed aside due to need to refresh and relax, but my bath was interrupted by several long dark hairs on the shower tiles next to me. It was pretty obvious staff must be busy. I get it. But a clean room doesn't need to go by the way side. Again, my husband just shrugged it off since the kiddo had fallen asleep peacefully, and a sleeping 2 year old always wins. Breakfast was good. Expensive enough for a buffet, but at least it was great food and great service. I went to the desk after to make sure we wouldn't run into any issues due to separate reservations, but the gentleman behind the desk assured me no. I had already decided to skip the complaint on cleanliness. Both nights my husband tried the hotel bar, just to come back to the room saying it was just loud and busy. The day we checked out, I went to the desk and just simply stated we were checking out. The woman there asked me for the bill left under my door, I said I didn't receive one. She looked up our reservation and said we don't get one because we used points. This is actually the first time I hadn't received one on a "points only stay". I asked for a bill since I know there are always taxes I will be charged for and I like to keep track of things, and she said again we won't receive one "because of using points". That's a bit of a weird interaction. Am I being shunned for using points?! So strange... Pretty sure those computers bring up the tier all those "points" have us sitting at... I got coffee and snacks for the kiddo at Starbucks, the patrons were generally rude to the staff and other patrons. The baristas, totally nice. After getting coffee, I realized my husband had left the lobby and roamed off with my cell phone and child. I went to the desk in hopes for a phone to track them down. Same woman was "available" to speak to, but it was obvious I was interrupting her. I asked if there was a way to make a phone call. After repeating my question a second time, she said "No, the hotel has no phones, only house phones". I littlerly looked at her and couldn't believe the interaction. Just such a strange way to react to a guest. I just walked away figuring I know him well enough of where to find him. We've stayed in many Hyatt brand hotels and non- Hyatt brand hotels. This experience has been the least attentive as far as cleanliness and front desk experience. Overall, good location. But, like most chains, the magic and ambiance of the hotel are left wanting.

Really good hotel overall. Better than many in the area. Locations is perfect for shopping, site-seeing and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel is good and the $25 brunch is kind of expensive but the food is amazingly good.
