Born in Cook County, I'm interested in my family tree which I have begun to document on find-a-grave.com. I like camping (raw camping, not that stuff people do in oversized busses). I love antiques and history. I write fiction, mostly sicence fiction with a unusual twists. I love good horror but the story had better be good. I love the older works of Stephen King and his writer pals from the 70's and 80's.
As I've gotten older I discover that I want to make all my time avaiable for my family. Even if we're not doing anything but watching T.V. most of my other interests have fallen by the way side. I just don't know how much time I have left here. When my family wants to be with me, I want to be there.
I'd like to recognize my father who's always been my best friend. My son who will always be my best friend, my wife Gracie who will always be my best friend, Alyson, my sister who will always be my best friend... I think the people that know me can see where this is going. One can never have too many best friends.
I would also like to thank my mentors at Delta Air Lines, Chuck Schramek, Steve Hill, Tom Farmakis, Scott Nutter, Col. Peter Moates, LeRoy Nauman, Captain Dave Busy, Captain Joe Kolshak, Captain Gary Beck, Captain Steve Dickson and Captain Jim (Go Gators) Graham. I also need to thank litterally thousands of others who have been on this path with me. I litterally had the time of my life. Thank you Delta.
I would also like to recognize Mr. Bostick, my history teacher from Wolfson High in Jacksonville, FL for opening my eyes to the "absolute" value of history (you'd have to sit and listen to him describe it to understand it), the beauty of knowledge and that no event past, present or future, no matter how small or great; is unworthy of our intense scrutiny.
