Seated quickly, but waited about 10 mins with no service, so we left. It wasn't busy, so that's a little bewildering. It was our first time at this location, and it was crappier than I expected.

Had takeout the other day from this place. Love the atmosphere it is truly a home style Italian restaurant. Hostess were great, bartender was great at helping me make my decision, and the food was really good as well.

Wow, what a waste of money. Ordered to-go and specifically asked for angel hair and Alfredo sauce in the dish as it's what my pregnant wife was craving. Get there only to be briefly greated by the girl at the front and then pushed over to the bar to wait for my food. As the bartender brings me the bill he very quickly states that they had no angel hair and had to substitute a different pasta. Now, I should have bailed out right there but I didn't want to return empty handed so I took it. After getting the food and getting home, I opened the dish to find super dry noodles with a clump of Alfredo sauce stuck to the bottom of the pan and regular thick spaghetti. Now it might not seem like a big deal but when you're dealing with pregnancy cravings, every detail counts. Probably should have just gone down the street to spaghetti factory and gotten better food/price/service. Oh well, lesson learned.

My favorite Italian food around. I've been coming here ever since I can remember for all sorts of special occasions. When I went to California we went to one and it was still amazing.

had placed an order over the phone the lady said it will be ready in 15 min... i walk to there and am told to wait in the bar because that is where the to go orders are paid for, went and waited, and waited, two others got there orders and left. here im still waiting, now i ordered a SMALL SPAGHETTI WITH MEAT SAUCE AND A SMALL GARLIC BREAD. And had to wait at the bar for for longer. i asked for my money back and all of the sudden my food appeared, not hungry anymore because my 15 min dinner i had waited over 45 mins now. guess the reason im posting this is because i wanted their food now for years only heard great things so im really disappointed with my first time there being that horrible. thanks

The Lynnwood Buca di Peppo is really a big disappointment. In general, the atmosphere could really be a hit. But the food and food quality is really hit and miss. The only thing that I can say was adequate was the wine. The Caesar Salad was very dry and lackluster. The garlic bread with mozzarella had ample garlic , but was very bitter as the garlic was not well roasted. I can't remember what the menu name was, but I had what was essentially a seafood linguine. The mussels were nominally OK, but the shrimp and calmari were dry and obviously not fresh, and likely frozen. The dish as a whole was dry and lacked much flavor. Hardly what you would want to serve in an established reputable restaurant. My wifes meal was much more favorable, and the marinara sauce was quite tasty. They tried to replace the poor attempt of seafood linquini with the same order as my wife, but it took an extraordinarily long time to come out, and it was obvious that the presentation was hastily thrown together. After tasting an unusual flavor in one of the spinach manicotti, I asked my wife to compare the flavor with hers, and she said it tasted very different. Well, obviously, that ended my attempt to enjoy a good meal. The evening of lackluster salad, bitter bread, one bottle of chianti, and only one decent entree, because I still wonder what was in the replacement dish; the cost of the meal with the normal 20% tip was over what I would normally pay at a much finer dining establishment, and all for what was really a very undesirable dining experience. A much better dining experience for the money can be had at Arnies or Anthony's, or on a more similar note, the Olive Garden. And so much quieter, too.

Very noisy atmosphere. Waiter was too busy correcting me to listen to what I was ordering. Missed our order for calamari. He finally ordered it and then it went to another table. When it finally arrived it was like chewing on rubber bands. Entrees took a long time to arrive and were very bland. Fettuccine alfredo needed more parmesean cheese. Freshly grated parmesean is not offered. The whole dinner experience took over 2 hours. Waiter tried to make things better by giving us a free dessert. The family style dishes are nice but over priced. Garlic bread should be free with dinner. Will not be going there again.
