Brought in a bike that I bought on Craigslist that I thought was a good deal and turned out to have a busted rear shock and all sorts of other bits needing attention. Mikes Bikes employee, Wayne, helped me out quite a bit; was able to send my shock into Specialized and fix a lot of other bits. Overall, very happy with my experience there.
I was promptly helped as soon as I entered the store. Turns out they have a special going on for bike tubes right now - 3 for 20 bucks. Just what I was looking for!
I came here after going to Pedal Hard, which was deserted (even though the "Open" sign was on, and the posted hours of operation said they were open until 7 pm).
The customer service here is amazing. I didn't even buy my bike here but they were willing to look at it and help me fix it. So much better than Performance Cycle. By far the best bike store I have ever been in.
I have been very happy with both the service and the friendliness of the maintenance/repair staff. I too have taken my bike here after not having a favorable experience at another bike repair shop. I did once have a problem with an adjustment made here that when I returned the bike they readily admitted there had been a mistake and promptly made the correction. All 7 of my road and mtn bikes go here.
There was lots and lots of bikes there, and there are many diffe3rent bikes for riding levels, but their customer service is absolutely horrible. I asked a few questions, and one of the workers said so what do you want in a mad way. After I told him I was just looking, he just walked away, so I had a few of the same experience with other workers there. Too bad that they have such good bikes but their customer service is awful.
