So, I recently booted up my old PS2 and realized that the PS2s era was god tier. Yea, most people agree but damn was it good.

Looking to the future do people agree that it at least looks promising?

>Zelda U
>Xenoblade
>Starfox
>Bloodborne
>Persona 5
>Uncharted 4
>Ratchet and Clank
>Halo 5
>Scalebound
>Phantom Dust
>Crack Down 3
>MGSV
>FFXV
>Silent Hills
>Kingdom Hearts 3
>Yakuza 0
>Mobile Suit Gundam
>Last Guardian

The list goes on, all consoles are looking to have a promising as hell future (some more than others) but overall. It looks roughly in the same vain as the PS2 era, with Nintendo getting it's basic and expected games. Microsoft getting it's basic games and more fun action orientated shooters. Sony with it's weeb games and first party titles / new IPs. It all looks damn good.

But PC seems to have dropped off.

Back in the olden days we had everything from Starcraft, WoW, Warcraft, Command and Conquer, Sims, F.E.A.R, Half Life, Fallout, Planetscape, Deus Ex, Doom, Unreal Tournament. PC was definitely a viable alternative to consoles but now, I hear all this talk about 'golden era' and I just don't see it.

Whenever I ask a PC gamer what they look forward to they either pick:

>Star Citizen (a kikestarter game with a literal $15,000 in game transaction in it)
>A pale imitation of one of the older classics listed above with 'better visuals'
>Multiplat (that's ironically delayed or even not confirmed).

Why has PC gaming fallen victim to toaster tier shovelware playable on luncboxes? What happened to the god tier AAA games we had? Why are the people who play their MOBAs and MMOs on their toasters dictating and influencing todays developers in the fact that every major upcoming PC game is toaster friendly aimed at that exact crowd.

What is this golden age? Gaming hasn't died, just PC gaming.

Enthalpy is a concept used in science and engineering when heat and work need to be calculated

When a substance changes at constant pressure, enthalpy tells how much heat and work were added or removed to the substance

Enthalpy is similar to energy, but not the same. When a substance grows or shrinks, energy is used up or released. Enthalpy accounts for this energy. Because of this, scientists often calculate the change in enthalpy, rather than the change in energy
