We were a party of 6 celebrating my daughters birthday. The view is awesome, no problem parking. The food was very good, the service was ok at times they were very attentive then would disappear for quite some time. Also we were provided a circular booth, 5 in the booth is a bit snug and they added a chair for the 6th person. My son is 6'4" and this was not a great fit. Make sure they know the size of the people coming. The only major complaint we all had was the noise level. It is like eating in a crowded bus station, lots of sounds, voices carry from across the restaurant making normal conversation difficult. My daughter is a candidate for her architecture license and when I asked her why is it so damn loud. They used materials that throw sound back into the room and very little is absorbing. Unfortunate as I would not return to this site for that reason.

The food definitely the best part and it wasn't anything special. Our waiter was clearly trying very hard to push some very expensive bottles of wine on us. I was with business clientele and did not want to seem cheap in front of them but I didn't want to pay 4-500 dollars for a bottle either. After I didn't buy our waiters (forgot name) choice of bottle, he became decidedly unfriendly with us although did perk up again when trying to sell us the more expensive menu items. His advice seemed entirely dollar based and not at all concerned for me, the customer. I've been to the Strega in the Northend several times and enjoyed all my visits but would not return here again.

They double charged my credit card. Really frustrating. Food is good but waiter John is not too pleasant.

Nick Varano, You should be proud of the staff at Strega Waterfront. My wife and I went to your restaurant tonight to celebrate our 41st anniversary. We were early for our reservation but were still seated right away in the crowded restaurant. Our table for two turned out to be next to a wall. I am a large man with broad shoulders so I did not fit well at that table. I mentioned it to the gentleman pouring water and he said he would be right back. In a moment he returned with your manager Rachael Perry. She quickly moved us to a great booth. We told her it was our 41st and she brought us a glass of champagne. We were in your restaurant for five minutes and we saw three examples of great service and it got better. Our server was Natale DeMarco. When he is not working, he is a med student. Hi service was great. I had the grilled shrimp over pineapple appetizer and Kathy had the mozzarella and tomato. Both were great. Natale recommended the baked stuff lobster tail with a filet (the surf and turf special). It was fabulous. We had a great night with great food and great service at a reasonable price. Rachael stopped by the table four times to check on us. Thank you for having such great people representing you and thank you for serving such great food.

This was hands down the best place I ate in Boston! Definitely make a reservation though. We got here a little late because we got stuck in Foxboro after the Pats game. But they were very nice even though we were late and we were under dressed. The server was extremely nice and helpful. The gnocchi is really heavy, wish it had meat to even it out. Dessert was great as well. This place is worth visiting if you are looking for quality food.

The services is always great here and the food is even better. I enjoy their seafood dishes. They always have a great sangria ready to try as well. I highly recommend it here. It's worth the price.
