Common Across Apps  -

So Far so good. Want to test some things myself but it sounds like protected content is not supported? That is a shame but I cannot say it is much of a surprise if it is the case as the OneNote App for android STILL does not support password protected sections. So i would say to MS on this. Get password protected docs, spreadsheets, presentations and sections in Notebooks working ASAP. If I have heard wrong let me know and I will do the same if i find out otherwise in my own testing.

That is good to know. Now when will password protected sections in OneNote be supported. Really annoying that after all this time with the OneNote app on Android that it still does not have the support of password protected sections. Then again I am surprised there still is no way to password protect an entire notebook in any version of OneNote.
Anyway, thanks for pointing out that password protected files are supported.

Liking the App so far. Loved the WP version of it and was hoping it would make it to Android. Now here is hoping that Spartan makes it to Android at some point.

This is a damn sweet RDP client. Yes there is room for improvement. But when it supports Remote App via RDWeb Gateway, it overcomes the few missing features. This may be the solution to my BYOD problem!

Great! I love the new Tablet UI. Now where is the ability to open Locked Sections?

We know you’re excited about handwriting for Android (we are too!), but don’t forget about the other cool features in the update. From an all-new interface to great new formatting tools, there’s lots to love. Have you gotten the update yet? http://blogs.office.com/2014/08/19/onenote-android-now-handwriting-support-full-tablet-experience-much-just-time-back-school
Today's post was written by Ayush Rastogi, on behalf of the entire OneNote team. OneNote for Android We have been hard at work on an update for OneNote for Android, which enables you to take handwritten inked notes, have a tablet optimized experience, and personalize and format your notes.

Windows 8.1 has RTM'd.
Well according to MS it has. But since I cannot get it as a technet subscriber how can it be RTM? I guess the big boys like Dell have the "final bits" (though they are not really final),

Just do away with these old terms MS and just say version 8.1 is available when anyone can get it.
