A Utah prisoner who was about to go on trial for killing his cellmate is going to receive life in prison instead of the death penalty.

The reason for the lesser sentence was because the Utah Department of Corrections withheld almost 1,600 pages of medical records from the case even after the judge ordered them to be turned over.

Avoid a DUI arrest. Have a plan, take a cab, order an Uber or Lyft. Don’t drink and drive.

Utah might be the first state to allow self driving cars. The House Transportation Committee approved a bill that would make these cars legal throughout Utah.

Some Utah lawmakers think this will help ease the amount of DUIs people are charged with when the new 0.05% DUI Law goes into effect.

On Thursday, February 22nd Senator Jim Dabakis presented Senate Bill 210 to Utah Lawmakers while legally drunk 0.05% BAC.

The senator had two mimosas before having an aide drive him up to Capitol Hill.

He had the drinks and did the presentation to prove how ridiculous the new 0.05% DUI Law really is.
