We were walking by and looked at the menu. The man who greeted us was very pleasant and accommodating. I wanted a crab sandwich, which was no longer being served as it is a lunch item and it was dinnertime. The man inquired with the kitchen and they gave the okay on the crab sandwich. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. Our server, Brittany, was amazing! So sweet, engaging and just very good at her job. We got the crab sandwich and clam chowder bowl. Both were delicious. What really stood out was the incredible customer service we received. It was solid from the beginning to the end. If we lived locally, we would eat here regularly.

Our favorite place was closed, so I just tried this out. Great staff, that is the reason it didn't get 1 star. Great view. Food very disappointing. Clam chowder is better on the street. The fish and chips tasted and felt more like chicken nugget and chips, burger is so so, and the rice pilaf? Can you say rice a roni? Save your money and go elsewhere.

Shrimp was very undercooked. Place smelled like walking in my sons room filled with old socks. My water stayed a 1/4 cup the entire meal. salmon was subpar and had too much sauce. fish and chip was mostly bread. service was poor. it was very pricey. the best part was seeing a massive raccoon run by the window.

I went last night to the restaurant, I got crab cakes, lobster tail, and a filet mignon. I first sent the Filet Mignon back because it tasted awful and after an hour and a half; almost TWO hours later I received my Lobster tail and it was ice cold in the middle... needless to say I sent it back as well they asked if I wanted anything else but I chose not to and asked for a check. All in all, if you want decent water, bread and over priced crab cakes (minus the uneventful and flavorless rice and veggies that comes with it) then this is the place for you.

*Happy Hour Review Only* Castagnola is like one of those guys you go out with just for the free meals, but after a few dates, realize that he's got some potential. Not a destination stop, but not a bad way to pass time. Stop by the bar for happy hour on a weekend and be entertained by Paul, the combination Pianist/Vocalist/Comedian. He made sure everyone in the bar area was involved, buzzed and laughing, the formula for a great happy hour. You can think you are only staying for one drink, then before you know it, a couple hours have passed. $4 pints might not be the best deal, but considering you're getting a side of free entertainment, it's a steal!

i agree with most of the critics on this restaurant. way over priced. $21 for fish and chips that seemed like a microwaved meal. my family got chowder bowls for $14 ea which they said it wasn't nothin better than the curb vendors. Although the food was subpar, the service was prompt and delightful. Golden brown hostess was nice and the waitress was attentive and full of energy. The only reason i gave a tip. Will never go back...

Neat building, good view, mediocre food and service. Just too pricey for the quality.
