The incredible food makes up for the sometimes eh service... We come here or order take out on a regular basis. I alternate between the tex and the mex. I love the pulled pork sandwich, along with the tuna burrito. We always get the veggie wings. They bring a bowl of water out for my dog when we eat outside. Quizzo night is always fun. I always reco this place to people who ask!

El Camino is by far the tastiest restaurant in Northern Liberties! The chicken wings are out of this world. The tacos are to die for. And the fried pickles.... perfection!

This was the first (and so far, only) restaurant I've visited in Northern Liberties. I was treated to this restaurant by a friends family and let me just say that after visiting El Camino Real, many of the other restaurants in the area have a lot to live up to. We had to stand awkwardly in the entrance way to wait for a table to open up, but we were seated within five minutes of arriving and our orders were taken immediately afterwards. The servers were very courteous and polite and had no problem taking multiple orders in a very short span of time. The quality of the food was far better than I had ever expected. One order of the homemade nachos and guacamole were more than needed for the five of us seated at the table and they were very, very tasty (if not a little bit on the spicy side). By the recommendation of my friend, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was by far the most delicious thing I think I've ever eaten at a Tex-Mex restaurant. The chicken inside was prepared very well and the ranchero sauce on top added a nice creaminess and paired well with the cheese inside. The only problem would have to be how crowded and loud it was -- but for a Saturday night at such a seemingly popular restaurant, I didn't expect any different. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice night out with a young, friendly atmosphere and great food.

Awesome place! I come back every chance that I can. The food and the drinks are great but I must say the staff are the only drawback to this place. I have consistently gotten unfriendly service or really bad service like when the bartender took my food away without me noticing, threw my drink out early and then refused to give me anything but a shot of Gran M. Still, the food and drinks make up for it and then some. Highly recommend this place, just don't expect to have great service.

I've had many a burrito in my day but last night my life was changed. I've been trying to eat vegetarian lately so by suggestion of the bartender, I ordered the cactus and sweet potato burrito served Gringo style with black beans. It was honestly the best burrito I've ever had in my life. I know it was because I'm still thinking about it, so much so that I'm considering going back tonight and I live all the way out in Bucks County.

Excellent Mexican, excellent smoked barbecue. Avoid the fried pickles, they're too thick and not "fried" enough.
