I enjoy going to this store almost all the time, today's visit however wasn't very pleasant at all. There was this short girl, with long brown hair wearing all kinds of bracelets that I had a problem with. It started out good, I came in and one of the girls said Hi and asked if I needed anything. After that I browsed the store a little bit in the 0-3m girl section, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She completely ignored me when I was trying to ask her a question, she was too busy telling the other girls that she would sneak them drinks if they went somewhere that she was going to that night. So then I went to check out and she just stood there staring at me and didn't say a thing until one of the others checked me out. I'm am very disappointed and I will probably never return because of this incident.

Dear Aubrey, I want to apologize for the experience you had in the store this weekend. In no way does Once Upon a Child condone or support the words and actions of this employee. As a childrens store and a locally owned business, we know the importance and strive to provide excellent customer service and always hope to provide such with sincere integrity. This employee is now no longer employed with Once Upon a Child. Furthermore, internal actions have been made to help prevent such situations in the future. I love this store! The employees are friendly, honest and fair. They have a set price for clothes they accept based on brand and conditionl and the price is very good. They have a wide selection of sizes and variety of clothes. If they don't accept something they always tell you why and will usually put tape by any stains! I will be sad when my son outgrows this!

I stood at the cash register while three girls looking through clothes ignored me. Then, I moved down to the other register where another customer was being helped. The cashier got done with that customer and proceeded to do other things before helping me. While all this happened, other customers were helped right where I was standing in the first place. In other words, customer service was extremely bad. My daughter was told the shoes were 70% off when she asked before we got in line. Finally, I am ready to checkout and was told the shoes were 40% off and I told her my daughter was already told 70% off and she proceeded to tell me the shoes are 40% off instead of asking who told my daughter they were 70% off. Terrible, terrible service.

Store demonstrated astonishing dishonesty and sincere lack of initiative for taking responsibility when they made a mistake utilizing inexcusable reasoning. The place is run by inexperienced, disingenuous high-schoolers and owned by someone lacking the slightest sense of business ethics at all who's trying to flip a profit from nickel and diming used Chinese-made children's merchandise. The whole thing is utterly disgusting. My family and I will never step foot inside that place again. Please, just donate your stuff to a thrift store, that's what they're there for, or sell it on Craigslist, and you will be treated 100% better. It feels really good to be independently altruistic than feed that baby-cloth slanging profit monger in Baken Park.
