I am so disappointed with A & J's customer service (specifically Adam of A & J). I have used A & J in the past and I was very pleased. This time around I bought my mother a groupon and she called to make an appointment. When she arrived there was no one there and although she spoke twice with Adam on the phone, after waiting an hour, she left with none ever arriving to help her. I have since spoken with Adam who chalks this up to a miscommunication because his employee (who was 50 minutes late for the appointment) did not come back and somehow puts blame on my mother for not waiting longer. I do understand that problems occur but the fact that they were not apologetic and helpful in resolving the matter has encouraged me to give them this rating. Barring an except able solution, I will

I just took my car in on Monday 3/2/15 and they did an incomplete and poor job with the detailing. I paid for them to clean the 3rd row, but that was not done very well. They close at 3 PM, so by the time you pick up the car there is no one to talk to. We have used A&J in the past (The mobile service) and they did a decent job, but this time it was poor. I would look for another place in the future.

Very disappointed. My husband took my car in to be detailed, and when we got it back the driver’s side seat panel was broken. The entire panel had been snapped off. I understand that things happen, however the disappointing thing is that when my husband pointed it out to them they denied it. They tried to claim we brought it to them that way; it was definitely not like that before we brought it in. In addition, they failed to clean out the compartment between the seats.

Purchased a Groupon for an auto detail at A&J Detailers. They put out so many Groupons they are unable to service them all in a reasonable amount of time. It took over a week just to get in contact with them to schedule. Once I finally was able to get a hold of them to schedule, they said the earliest they could get to me was in TWO MONTHS!! Advice for the owner...bad business decision to put an offer out on Groupon that you can not support. UPDATE TO MY REVIEW.... I was very surprised that I got a phone call from the owner in regards to the review I gave. I give him kudos to reaching out to me based on my review. To me that does show someone that cares. My advice on limiting the number of Groupons to just the number of customers he can adequately support and schedule in a reasonable amount of time still stands (my perception of reasonable is two, three weeks max not the two months out). However, based on the fact he reached out to me shows a genuine level of concern and as such I am going to increase my rating to a two star. He offered me an incentive to give him another chance once the flow of customers from the Groupon slows down. If I decide to take him up on that I will update this review. To be fair please note that my review is based solely on the fact of A&J over-committing on their Groupon and not being able to schedule in a reasonable amount of time and I have no experience with the quality of their work.

This is the 1st time I've been completely satisfied with a detail. I'm completely satisfied with the overall cleanliness of my car and impressed with the service. Small Business at its finest. This is the only place I will bring my vehicles in the future. If you're OCD and meticulous; this is the place that gives results.

As I explained to the owner of this business, I’m not usually one to complain. Unfortunately I feel that this deserves an exception to this philosophy. My father brought his RV to get a bid to wash and buff out a paint scratch. After a walk around inspection, a reasonable quote was given and my father accepted and left the vehicle in my care to pick up after completion. The RV was parked against a tree line and had some tree pollen and discoloration along one side along with the standard bugs and dust, but nothing insurmountable. He finished the job at the agreed upon time but when I went to pick it up, I was not at all satisfied and felt like my father was taken advantage of. For starters, the tree sap/Mildew (?) on the side was only cleaned on the broad side of the RV in the open parts and not underneath the awning supports and close to windows The grill and the entire front end were still coated in dust and bugs all the way across and underneath the bump-out. The backs of the mirrors were still covered. There was still black spot of grease or something (that wiped off with very little effort) just behind the driver’s door Also Streaks of soap on all of the windows and the chrome bumpers although I ‘m not sure the windshield was touched. There were other things that seem petty to mention but in the context of everything else indicated a very poor job. I called him after going to pick it up and conveyed my displeasure. His response (and I’m paraphrasing), was that if I wanted to pay him more money, he would work on those areas because he spent so much time cleaning the difficult side that he didn’t feel he should have to do anything else. Additionally, the bugs were baked on. I was taken aback by this a little and we discussed that he bid the job based on his experience and should be held to a professional standard as it is his name in the title. He agreed in principle and said that he would be able to do it on Friday and we ended the call amiably. Friday came and went as did next Friday. I left several messages over a couple of weeks that were never returned. During this time, I researched the reviews for *_A & J Mobile Detailing_* and learned that this seems to be a habitual business practice. My father unfortunately has not completely embraced the world of social media or he probably wouldn’t have risked his money here. I drove the RV straight to a Car wash Bay and washed it with a soap wand and the foaming brush and got out 75% of the ‘baked on’ bugs and other complaints with no additional chemicals. Even the discoloration came right off with the soap and water technique. It now looks like I pictured it looking after an adequate wash. To be fair, he did remove the yellow paint on the side as agreed. I am interested to hear the response for this, and to address my complaints. I anticipate his minimizing and disputing my claims therefore I am uploading pictures to illustrate. Proceed with caution. Your experience could be different but you should be aware of other customer’s aggravation.

We have used A&J MANY times over the years both commercially and for personal cars. Adam and his wife have always been on time, picked up the cars and knocked out GREAT details quickly. Even the worst stained interiors have been done really well. Super high quality work inside and out. They are also priced well AND they deliver top notch service. Call them!

HEY. if i had to talk about the wait i would say two weeks was a bit long but i guess when you buy a groupon what can you expect. i waited and the my car has never looked better Adam did a nice job. i especially liked the fact i got a special price for being a 2nd time customer. ill be glad to return thats for sure.
