What a joy of a restaurant. You pay (and do you pay!) for the great food and impeccable service that you get. The chef's tasting menu is no joke and you'll definitely walk away with one of the finest dining experiences.

Providence is one of my favorite upscale restaurants in L.A. The food is just amazing. True gourmet at it's finest, and everything about it is top notch, from the service, to the food, to the atmosphere. The Chefs Tasting menu is incredible. This place is not cheap, but worth every bit of money you spend. Great place to bring out of towners or for special occasions. Dessert is to die for.

This probably LA's best restaurant, having been to them all. This s the ultimate of a secial occasion place in a wonderful atmosphere. It has earned its Michelin stars each time I have gone from my first encounter with the chef's menu at the Chef's table, with a glass wall to the kitchen to the main dining room. Beautiful bar, elegant and relatively quiet dining.

Sunday departing the 65th Primetime Emmys, my better half and I called for our limousine and began travel to complete our reservation with Providence. Noting the Emmys both started and ended late, we were behind schedule and were on course for a 9:05pm to 9:10pm arrival. I telephoned the venue to inform them only to be called nearly simultaneously by their staff. I informed them the awards show ended late and we would be 5 to 10 minutes late. I was summarily informed this would be deemed a cancellation were I not to reschedule, else be charged a $150 fee. I was far from happy with being addressed this way and I opted not to dine with Providence and returned to Beverly HIills as this was certainly a harbinger of bad service. Far from a true Providence, note my star rating for this callous service.

Words don't do Providence justice. I enjoyed the Chef's Tasting Menu, which must be experienced to be believed. Fifteen courses of simply exquisite fare, ranging from scrambled eggs with sea urchin and black truffle shavings to foie gras ravioli. Not knowing the menu beforehand, I put my trust in the sommelier to recommend wines to pair with the dinner, he did not disappoint! Impeccable service and decor, an amazing experience.

Had the tasting menu of seven or so courses. Food was beyond amazing. Execution of food was excellent. Tasted great. As close to perfection as you can get. Service was absolutely amazing. If you have the money. GO! Santa Barbara prawns were the best item that we tried.
