I have lunch w/ some hard, hard, HARD core libertarian coworkers/friends today. I disagree with them on what and how much the government should have in our lives, but I respect their opinions. This is why though I disagree with them, I respect folks like Ron Paul or Gary Johnson. Now, Mitt Romney, on the other hand, just makes stuff up.

He will a) Cut Taxes for everyone, b) NOT TOUCH Medicare and Medicaid even though that's what his running mate is (in)famous for. c) Increase Defense Spending while at the same time, d) not increase the deficit. by e) Closing a few unspecified tax deductions.

Uh, hmm. Interesting.

Oh and regarding Obamacare, under Romney's plan, pre-existing conditions WILL be covered and children WILL be allowed to stay on their parents' plan well into adulthood... Who's going to pay for this? One of the reasons that the Affordable Care Act includes the controversial insurance mandate provision, is to make it economically feasible for the insurance companies to add potentially millions of sick folks (pre-existing condition, y'all) to the rolls by making it mandatory for otherwise healthy folks to buy coverage as well. I suppose Romney thinks that under his administration, the insurance companies will pick up the tab out of the goodness of their own heart???

Now, I can respect someone like Ron Paul saying that the government should GET OUT of the healthcare business. I disagree with it, but I RESPECT it. Romney, he's just plain flippin', floppin', and making stuff up.

I like this... Being a recovering perfectionist, I have to remind myself to DO and not THINK so much about DOING stuff...
Go For It, Now. The future is promised to no one.

A non-doer is very often a critic-that is, someone who sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It's easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, and change. ~Wayne Dyer

Wow. One "suspected" that there was no privacy on the internet, but now one knows... What's especially troubling is that some of this technology allows the user to decrypt SSL traffic in real time and perform a "man-in-the-middle attack. If a rogue employee in your employer's IT department or your ISP (where you log into your online banking site or view your recent blood test results from a lab trusting that it is all safely protected by encryption) were to abuse this technology, things could be very, very scary...

Or here. Actually, this looks more relaxing than my previous share.
                                            Amazing Resort

Is not actually 20,000 leagues but it is 400 feet at the bottom of a beautiful lagoon in Fiji. The price tag per person will run about $15,000 per week.  The package includes private plane transport, 2 nights under the sea, 4 nights beach side and the use of the resorts 2 submarines

I want my next vacation here... Wouldn't want to roll around while sleeping though.
Here at LateRooms.com we're not usually huge fans of camping...

But if you are going to do it – do it in style.
