You may find this interesting - at least as a discussion starter.  I'll be interested in your comments - and those may well lead to new blog posts.
Wow - I had forgotten this blog even existed.  Much has happened in my life since the last post. And that will, undoubtedly, get mentioned.  I hope to make this a creative outlet - based on - well, who knows what?  Maybe some...

I wish it was more fluid with input. The recognition is great but one must wait for each word to insert before writing another and that is not how I write

writing on my S3 in portrait mode long words can be a problem . However I find I can write quite quickly and the handwriting recognition is very much better than I expected !

The dealership said they knew what the were doing with Washington taxes. The amount they charged was wrong. They held that amount for 2 weeks, though it was all dated 4 days after the sale. But it was not mailed for 2 weeks, allowing them to get interest on nearly 3000 dollars. So they took money, held it for 2 weeks, then sent me a check for the same amount. The car is great, they had excellent selection, and met our deadline. If you buy a car there, pay your non-oregon taxes directly. I would be inclined to go elsewhere.

Yes, it's a Starbucks. So it's the standard experience. This one is one of the calmer ones I've been in. I like it better than some.

Customer service is not a priority. I'm sure as long as everything is fine, they are fine. But woe to the guest who runs afoul of "the rules". Even the manager on duty has no authority to bend the rules, even to the point they were willing to turn away a room on a Sunday night - for lack of a small deposit - which they refused in cash. Sad state of affairs.

It's OK. IHOP has become much more than pancakes. And often those are more dessert than breakfast. But you can get a decent breakfast for a decent price. This one is difficult to get into.

Called this morning. Anthony arrived 4:30, carefully checked the system. Suggested a new unit - old one was burned out. In an hour he was done, cleaned up and gone after giving me brief but complete tutorial. Great service and a fair price.

Nice, chatty volunteers. Exhibits are not yet all in place, but worth the price of admission. The display is laid out in 3 areas, as you follow the story. Begin at the far end, in the "shore" section. It is there the story behind with the native peoples.
