This is a really beautiful bar. One of the most beautiful bars I've ever been to! The place is very well themed and everything looks awesome. The drinks were great also. I love having the chance to walk around and check out the decor and see what the lounge area looked like!

Fun Club built at the former Edison building, so alot of the decor reflects that era. Two floors, with good food/snack options, and lots of cocktails and drinks. There is a cover most nights, as well as bouncers who are loooing for a grease when your shoes doesn't match the exact theme (It's not like I had slippers on). But that's nothing new in DTLA.

Who doesn't love the glam and glitz of an old school Hollywood-style bar/ lounge serving up some seriously high-quality booze- from absinthe & artisinal cocktails, to craft beers & sweet non-alcoholic bevvies- and sporting a hefty menu packed with delicious bar food with an upscale twist? This particular spot was actually renovated from an old private power plant, and has an almost Steampunk-esque vibe, with strong connotations of the Industrial Revolution, and features live music, burlesque shows, & comfy seating accommodations- if you can manage to snag some. I came here for a pre-Halloween bash, and the place was hopping from the beginning, with live music- complete with a devilish orchestra- costumed Angelinos, several big screens situated on different walls playing classic horror movies from the black-and-white days, like Frankenstein, and even stilt-walkers playing pranks on unsuspecting drinkers at the bar, (all in good fun, of course). I can personally attest to the food being delicious, the drinks being classy & potent, and the prices being, more or less, fair ($14 per cocktail). I highly recommend the California Fresh Flatbread; it pairs perfectly with anything you might be drinking. Overall, this place has all the qualities of the perfect quintessential spot to enjoy nightlife in the big city. The only downside is, as with any popular joint in LA, there's the hassle of having to find and pay for parking, having to pay to get in, and then spending a small fortune on food and drinks once you're inside. Soo, you may have to save some pennies if you want to spend a pleasurable night with your friends and not have to worry about breaking the bank in the process.

For 2 years The Edison was my favorite spot in LA and always was looking forward to go there when i was visiting LA (I live in San Diego). 2 days ago I was there again and it was very, very disappointing. What happened to their dress code enforcement - wearing Ugg boots???!!! Ski caps? Flannel checkered shirts??? Not only it was distasteful but it was almost insulting to us who were trying to be dressed in this particular period style. The cocktails had maybe 1% alcohol (mostly juice), the burlesque show was also not the same as before and crowd was simply unbearable. I guess the management got very greedy and they don't care who is getting in as long as they pay cover charge. Unfortunately the place lost its charm, upscale atmosphere and sophistication. Very sad and disappointing because it truly was a very unique spot.

It's hard not to be impressed with their gorgeous bar. Sitting on the chair leaning into the bar is just cool. I tried one of their signature drinks the Black Magic, aged rum with apple biters and orange zest is willing good. Paired that with their Bacon Maple Beer Nuts. For a quick dinner went with the Mac and Cheese, so good! Their not open Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. FYI....

This bar is pretty cool. They have the oldies theme, with oldies music and film projected onto the wall. I came here on a weekday so it was pretty empty, but it was a great way to tour the place. I can imagine the place being packed on the weekends. Would definitely come back here. Drinks are not the cheapest, but you're paying more for the experience here.

One of the coolest places in LA. They have outstanding food and drinks. If you are coming with friends or a date you will enjoy yourself. The view overlooking the city very nice. Be prepared for a 10.00 dollars cover charge and the valet needs to be paid upfront.
