There are many hidden gems within Downtown's LA smoggy skyline, but The Edison has to be one of the best. This is one of those places that someone needs to take you to because it is literally down a random dark alley. Once you step through the door you are immediately transported to another decade. You descend into the bar and slowly start to take in the scenery. There was some serious thought placed into every single detail. The bar is in the basement of LA's first power plant so they have this steampunk/twenties theme throughout. The bartenders are nice and attentive. They have a small dance floor but manages to fit a good amount of people on it. I always have a lot of fun and no matter who you bring with they will be memorized.

Fantastic customer service from the gentleman outside. We arrived late for our reservation and he was able to get us our table, Which was totally awesome! Definitely will be coming back. I recommend to try the mistress drink for the ladies. I loved it. The appetizers were also very delicious

I love the interior, the cocktails, the whole thing! Its a huge venue so great for groups. Strict on guys though my friend couldn't get in with all black tennis shoes.

It's hard to find the words for the Edison. The Edison is an experience. I had been fantasizing about this place way before we actually set foot in the door. I went for my Birthday and had the best night ever! Our waitress, Skyler, was everything you hope for when you feel out of your element. She was so welcoming and informative. It didn't hurt that she was totally engaging and had a great smile!

I will never stop loving the epicness of this place! Never gets old and the drinks are always on point. If you don't like people (like me) avoid it during the weekends. Waaay too crowded, but for an afterwork pop. Love it.

Loved the atmosphere, the entire vibe was great and the drinks were on point. Definitely one of my new favorite spots downtown.
