One of the coolest places in LA. They have outstanding food and drinks. If you are coming with friends or a date you will enjoy yourself. The view overlooking the city very nice. Be prepared for a 10.00 dollars cover charge and the valet needs to be paid upfront.

I loved this place. Burlesque was fantastic, waitress was beautiful and classy. Drinks and food were good. Decour was outstanding. Super fun night, wish we lived closer.

The vibe cannot be beat. I have no idea what it cost to renovate the place but it was a multi-million dollar project. We got there early (5:15pm) for happy hour and stayed until about 8pm because it was midweek. We had happy hour steak and fries for $14, a couple sliders for $9 and a soft pretzel for $4. I think the steak and fries is the way to kick off an evening of drinking. Food was OK and service was good but that is not what you are here for. This place is an 'event' place that should not be missed.

Who doesn't love the glam and glitz of an old school Hollywood-style bar/ lounge serving up some seriously high-quality booze- from absinthe & artisinal cocktails, to craft beers & sweet non-alcoholic bevvies- and sporting a hefty menu packed with delicious bar food with an upscale twist? This particular spot was actually renovated from an old private power plant, and has an almost Steampunk-esque vibe, with strong connotations of the Industrial Revolution, and features live music, burlesque shows, & comfy seating accommodations- if you can manage to snag some. I came here for a pre-Halloween bash, and the place was hopping from the beginning, with live music- complete with a devilish orchestra- costumed Angelinos, several big screens situated on different walls playing classic horror movies from the black-and-white days, like Frankenstein, and even stilt-walkers playing pranks on unsuspecting drinkers at the bar, (all in good fun, of course). I can personally attest to the food being delicious, the drinks being classy & potent, and the prices being, more or less, fair ($14 per cocktail). I highly recommend the California Fresh Flatbread; it pairs perfectly with anything you might be drinking. Overall, this place has all the qualities of the perfect quintessential spot to enjoy nightlife in the big city. The only downside is, as with any popular joint in LA, there's the hassle of having to find and pay for parking, having to pay to get in, and then spending a small fortune on food and drinks once you're inside. Soo, you may have to save some pennies if you want to spend a pleasurable night with your friends and not have to worry about breaking the bank in the process.

Great staff. Great music. You can actually hear each other talk without getting soar throat the next day. The only problem is lack of good air conditioning and re entry is not allowed to get some fresh air.

Amazing atmosphere it's nice and dim the drinks and food are great. Wether it's the acrobatic show or the dance show they are very well worth to watch. The crowd is great and I love the theme. It's nice to walk into a place and everyone is properly dressed. A must-go-to place.

When you walk into the Edison it is like walking into the 1920's. The entrance is set in the middle of an alley. When you walk in you go down a staircase and land into a wide room with a black & white movie projecting from the wall. The drinks are created by a mixologist so I recommend trying at least one of their specialty cocktails. They also have a great happy hour with affordable drinks and very tasty sliders.
