I am a huge fan of Jonathon's bootcamp. I never have to push myself to go because I know once I get there that I will be drawn in by his energy, charisma, knowledge and, of course, his zany sense of humour! 45 minutes seems to go by in a flash and I always finish dripping wet and with a smile on my face. I enjoy the fact that each day brings work on a different body part and somehow Jonathon always manages to bring new and challenging exercises so your body is always challenged and you never get bored...could use a few less seal slides :-)))))))) During the time that I have been coming, I have not had any injuries, which some people automatically assume comes with this type of exercise. I owe this firstly to Jonathon and his extensive knowlege of kinetics...guiding you to adapt where needed as well as the fantastic foam floor that we get to work out on. Jonathon....you are the best!!!! Woohoo!!!!

I joined boot camp to break my vicious unhealthy life style. I used to be a night owl, not wanting to sleep, and find it extremely difficult to get up in the morning. As a result I was always running late, and having low energy for the rest of the day. Getting up at 5:30am seemed impossible, but it is actually very doable. I amazed myself in actually wanting to get up and go exercise. After exercise it just seemed natural to make healthier diet choices. The early bed time, healthy homemade diet and exercise really transform how I looked and feel. The trainers are very encouraging, and inspirational. It is a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend it :)

I'm a larger girl and when I first signed up for bootcamp, I thought it would be a way to kick start my weight loss plans with my mom. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it or stick with it, but my mom was excited and I caught some of that excitement. I've now been going to boot camp for 8 months and I can't imagine life without my 6am workout. I try to make it 4 times a week at least. On days when I miss boot camp, I feel tired, lethargic and as if I'm gaining weight (which I am. :D). On days when I go to boot camp, I'm more alert, ready to face the day and all without my good old grande mocha every morning. Getting my workout done in the morning gives me my whole day to get other things done, not struggling to get to a gym after a long day at work. Jono the trainer makes working out fun. There are themes and positive motivation that has my day starting out on the right foot. I wake up to a burst of positivity, motivation and someone that believes in me and wants me to succeed. The people in the class encourage one another and never in a condescending or negative way. You have someone in your corner constantly asking 'are you really giving it 100%?' 'could you go a little harder?' All without forcing you to do it if you really aren't up to it. There is constant laughter throughout the workout and a great sense of achievement after. I'm stronger and more able to do my job as a massage therapist.I'm able to run for the bus without feeling like my heart can't take it and I have more zeal in my life. The energy I've gained from going to boot camp has given me the biggest encouragement to keep going! I love boot camp. But I can only tell you about my own experience. If you're sitting on the fence, wondering if you should come out, I highly urge you to try it out. It's awesome and I bet you've never had such a great experience working out. I know I didn't when I used to go to the gym. Or when I followed a lady on a video. ;D Hope to see you at 6am!

I bought a voucher to Fit Body Boot Camp and used it last month when I was able to take lots of time off work. It was an awesome experience! Jonathan is super fun, funny and friendly. He motivates you and works you without making you feel weak. He encourages you and makes you believe in yourself. My favourite was when I said "I cannnnnn't'' and he asked "you can't or you won't?". And voila, did it! Besides the physical training, Jonathan also talks to the group and motivates the group, not only to help them achieve their goals, but also guide them to become better people. The class itself is great, too. The 45 minutes fly by so fast! The training isn't so tough that you feel like you're dying but it's tough enough to challenge you and you can totally feel it the next day. I love this boot camp! It's too bad they don't have drop-in rates as my regular work schedule doesn't allow me to come enough every month. If I am available, I will definitely come everyday. Thanks so much, Jonathan! I miss you and your class!!

When I started this boot camp 8 months ago, it was all I could do to keep up with the warm up let alone 2 burpees – winded already? But with Jono’s (and Jordan’s) positive upbeat, kind yet firm encouragement, Jono’s newsletters, and nutrition plan suggestions – I am 20 pounds lighter, faster, stronger and more energetic. This is a habit now– my accountability partner and I make it to boot camp at least 4 days a week. By the way, the sprung floor in the gym is another reason I choose this particular boot camp. There is no way I will ever go back to where I was 8 months ago! Even when I was river cruising in Europe for 5 weeks, I was able to bring my own pair of sliders and a whole resource of Jono’s exercises to keep up the workouts onboard. It was delightful to be able to smartly enjoy all the food and wine of the different countries I visited, and still return to Vancouver 1 pound lighter and continue on with boot camp where I left off. I’ll turn 59 in 6 months, and I feel as spry, as energetic, as limber, and as strong as many of my 40 something friends. Thanks Vancouver Fit Body Boot Camp!

Pros: indoors, no yelling, go at your own speed, a trainer to tell you how to do the exercise right, upbeat music and singing, nice people (no military yelling), feel fitter, healthier, and inspired to work harder, couldn't ask for anything more! well worth the money - unlimited classes is awesome! I always look forward to going! Exercise is really the best way to start the day! only Con I can think of is slightly limited parking.... but not too bad.
