I went here for a work luncheon--and was pretty satisfied. Though we had a private room, I still found the atmosphere and the service to be impeccable. The servers clearly knew the dishes. To start off, I had the basic salad. For my entree, I had one of the specials of the day, which was a New York Strip served with truffle potatoes and broccoli. The reason why I'm deducting a star is that my steak was significantly overcooked. I asked for medium--and definitely got well-done. Another person that was dining with me also ordered the same thing and had the same issue. It made the meat pretty tough. For dessert, I ordered the frozen hot chocolate, which was simply put..glorious. I'm looking forward to returning here for brunch!

Green Pastures is more than just a restaurant, its an experience unto itself. It should almost go without saying that the food here is excellent, but the wait staff and party coordinators are also top notch. Go here. It's worth it. It's really that simple. Take a camera with you and take some pictures with the peacocks and get some pics of the amazing old house. Oh, and I highly recommend the Father's Day Brunch here. Where else in town are you going to get smoked kangaroo tail? Amazing.

The buffet is EVERYTHING. Run don't walk to this place for Sunday brunch. You won't be disappointed.

I hosted a small celebration party of 8 for Sunday brunch. Everything was perfect - the room, the windows, the table setting, the live piano, the buffett (very, very unique items), the desserts (so many...all cut into small servings so all could be tasted), the servers, the grounds. I also felt the price was very reasonable for the overall "package." I really couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you, GP!!!!

By far the best food and service I have ever had in Austin . Definitely a new favorite . The server we had who went by Ashley was wonderful . He made this the most enjoyable experience and we will be requesting him on any future visits.

Very old school Southern. You must treat yourself to the Sunday Brunch. Try not to overdo on the powerful Milk Punch
