In two words - Elegant brunch. We came for brunch to celebrate a birthday. There was something for everyone in the group. Just a few of my favorites - prime rib, flounder with crab, broiled pork cheek, truffle egg salad, gouda truffle grits, wedge salad, milk punch with bourbon/rum/brandy, fresh squeezed lemon cookies. The pianist was performing and just before she left, she wanted to perform for us Etta James' At Last. We circled round for C's birthday as she performed. We all then sang happy birthday with her as C blushed bright red. :) I love live music. Afterwards we played paparazzi with the peacocks and the peacock babies - so cute. Brunch, live music, and peacocks. Fun times!!!

I went here for a work luncheon--and was pretty satisfied. Though we had a private room, I still found the atmosphere and the service to be impeccable. The servers clearly knew the dishes. To start off, I had the basic salad. For my entree, I had one of the specials of the day, which was a New York Strip served with truffle potatoes and broccoli. The reason why I'm deducting a star is that my steak was significantly overcooked. I asked for medium--and definitely got well-done. Another person that was dining with me also ordered the same thing and had the same issue. It made the meat pretty tough. For dessert, I ordered the frozen hot chocolate, which was simply put..glorious. I'm looking forward to returning here for brunch!

Offering a beautiful brunch spread, this is absolutely one of my favorite Sunday stops. The buffet offers a vast variety of delicious options with something available for every taste. The relaxed setting makes for a great time with family and friends.

The food was out of this world and cooked perfectly. We shared the sea food platter for appetizer, the salmon for entree and the chocolate habanero creme brulee for dessert. The food was worth the high price. The location and ambience were very classy and beautiful!!!

Old Austin fine dining and brunches are what they are known for. Many an event and wedding has happened here also. Most dress business casual but you can also go dressed to the nine's. Great menu that rotates consistently enough to make each visit potentially unique. The building and grounds are really what makes it. If you haven't been - give it a shot as it is an old Austin tradition.
