Clodagh’s Kitchen Blackrock is Clodagh’s first night time venture and stand alone restaurant. We are open 7 days a week serving breakfast, then an all day menu throughout the day, and on Thursday - Saturday we offer an al a carte dinner menu from 6.30pm until late.

Clodagh’s love for great Irish produce and Artisan producers is evident with items featuring local fish & meats, organic Irish vegetables, farmhouse cheeses and much more.

Relaxed and oozing with understated luxury, Clodagh’s Kitchen is the perfect place to unwind anytime of day. The décor, inspired by Clodagh’s visits to New York , Italy & the South of France, features muted tones of greys and whites with marble table tops, distressed mirrors, soft-cushion seating and an open kitchen featuring an AGA.

It features a Wine Bar boasting a menu for 40 wines along with Irish Craft Beers. The menu's are Mediterranean style influenced by Clodagh’s time in France and Italy.

Food Poison's Salmonella or Campylobacter bacteria would love this place!. We ate here on Christmas eve and were sorely disappointed. Ordered chicken wings as a starter and presentation was nice but after eating 2 average wings I was very shocked to discover half of them were still frozen!!! which is quite dangerous as un-evenly cooked poultry is a perfect recipe for food poisoning! I asked the waitress to return the starter and expressed my shock that poultry would be served in such a manner to the public and encouraged her to remove it from the menu on grounds of safety. Then further to my dismay our main course arrived! our Beef burger's and would you believe they too were under cooked, red in the centre and a pale brown on the outside. So the chef at this establishment either learned his craft in an abattoir or the chicken is half cooked in a microwave and the beefburgers are made with pork!! Neither of which you expect in a modern establishment in the western world! Nice and pleasant waitress I was so embarrassed for her I didn;t have the heart to complain about the burger it was Christmas after all. AVOID

Bit disappointing. Came here for brunch and asked for the eggs benedict which is supposed to come with ham hock. Very disappointed when it was brought out with two fatty bits of bacon and no explanation offered. The sourdough bread was rock hard as was the butter. My friend wanted porridge but wasn't going to pay €7 for it. She had scrambled eggs and said it was fine but basic enough. Staff seem nice but was really hoping this would be somewhere decent we could go on a regular basis.

The place is tastefully decorated, food is delicious none grease and regular portions, friendly service and very importantly very clean, spotless, everything shinny clean which I find very important. I give it a 10, I am definitely going back with my friends.

Having enjoyed Clodagh's works on TV & in print I was excited to visit her restaurant & was not disappointed. The fresh delicious food was from the latest seasonal menu, and we even got to see Clodagh herself pop in & whip a little something up! Be sure to visit if you get a chance.
