This photo was taken yesterday in Limestone County by Anna Spivak... if you saw it, what would you report? Many would report this as a tornado, but it part of a harmless, ragged shelf cloud ahead of a line of storms that were not severe. We need more trained storm spotters in Alabama, and our training continues this week. We will be in Oxford Tuesday, and Jasper Thursday. The big event is in Birmingham April 8 at the BJCC, when we will offer both the basic and the advanced class...

Photos near the scene of a plane crash at Hayden in Blount County from Lee Smith of ABC 33/40. The Cessna C210 was en route to Jackson, TN from KISM (Kissimmee Florida). Four were on board; debris has been found, but the search is still on for the cockpit. BHM tower reported the aircraft encountered turbulence from the approaching line of storms, and was turning around when it went down.

BLOUNT COUNTY: ABC 33/40 has confirmed a Cessna 210 went down in the Hayden area. Debris has been found; the search continues for the cockpit. Four people reportedly on board, but that has not been confirmed.

The State of Alabama has issued a Child Abduction Emergency, Amber Alert. The Gordo, Alabama Police Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency ask for your assistance in locating Christian Clay PERKINS, white, male, 11 months old.

Christian Clay Perkins was last seen 25 March 2017 in Gordo in Pickens County, West, Alabama, and is believed to be in extreme danger. Christian Clay Perkins was abducted by a white male and white female believed to be Blake PERKINS and Tandra GOFF.

Blake PERKINS is a 19 year old male. Tandra GOFF is an 18 year old female, 5 foot 4 inches tall, 119 pounds, brown hair, green eyes.

They may be traveling in a faded black Honda. If you have any information regarding this missing child, please contact the Gordo Police Department at (205) 367-9804; Alabama Law Enforcement Agency at 1-800-228-7688 or call 9-1-1.
