Bacoli offered an extensive menu with plenty of tasty options for everyone. The food was tasty and the homemade bread was amazing. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. I would go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice... here's why: -The food here is pricey. It is in the general price-range of chains like Carraba's, but this place lacks the ambiance to get away with prices like that. -The pasta, while tasty, was served al-dente and swimming in water. I don't think they drained the pasta at all, so the sauce got really wet and stained our shirts no matter how careful we tried to be. We are a budget-conscious family, so we appreciated that we weren't charged extras for little things like extra bread and dipping sauce. The bread isn't refilled like at some other family-style places... you have to ask for more. The portions are large - we left quite full and didn't have room to try the dessert. I should add that they had some specials posted at the entrance... I know one of them was all-you-can-eat pasta (I think Monday nights?) for around $8. As expected, there aren't any specials on the weekends.

The restaurant is family friendly & offers great food choices & portion sizes for the price. They have quickly become a family favorite location to eat at.

Better food than the places I've eaten from in Little Italy!

What a wonderful surprise to have such a delicious place disguised as a pizza joint in a shopping center! The food is great, staff very friendly and they have a liquor license! I will never pass judgment on such establishments again. It is family friendly with the understanding that parents might enjoy a glass of wine with their calzone. I recently learned that they will be changing the name to Gioia but the rest will stay the same. Buon appetito!
