Added photos to Ruckel Creek Falls Photowalk.

I'll be in Bend Thursday - Saturday, with really the only plan to hit the mountain and ride for a day. Most likely Friday.

Tomorrow I'd like to find a place to watch the Ducks game. Any suggestions on a good and fun place to catch the game?

I was nominated for the 5 day black and white challenge by a couple different people.  While I think it's great people do these, I am not one that's consistent enough to really partake. Even though it'd probably be good for me.

In light of that, here is a black and white photo from a couple months ago when playing around with some long exposures.

It's that time of year again! Time to get ready for +Help-Portrait !!!

We've just finalized the dates and locations and signups are now open on the website below for our 3 coastal locations.  We can always use help from anyone, whether you're a photographer or not, there's something to be done.

Even if you don't attend ours, you should find one close to you and volunteer. It's a very rewarding experience and you'll have a great time doing so!

A couple weekends ago, Cody and I made a spur of the moment trip down to the southern Oregon Coast for a sunset and sunrise shoot.  Sunset turned out to be more or less a bust, but clear skies lend for great night shooting.  So we spent a couple hours shooting the milky way and some selfies......  Don't judge us on those as they certainly beat the bathroom variety!

Here's probably my favorite one from Thunder Rock Cove.

Believe it or not, this was my first visit to this place.  The rather popular Peter Iredale shipwreck.  I arrived rather early in the afternoon and the tide was great then, but was too far out for sunset, so this is what I was left with.  The lines in the sand leading to the corner caught my eye and decided I'd do the completely and totally original idea of getting low and close!

I'm not entirely sure why this caught my attention and I'm super tempted to pitch in.  I'm a sucker for design in some respects and they definitely have that down. Some other aspects have me interested as well.

Remember last year in September when I got nailed by a big wave at Cape Kiwanda? And it destroyed my brand new camera, lens and phone at the time?

I went back there tonight for the first time since that happened.  I would just like to say, my gear is okay this time! and leave you with the below photos haha.

I'm two for two now shooting there and getting drilled out on the cape up pretty high.  Neither have been touched with editing.

Imagine this.... rainy most of the day, clouds breakup near sunset, makes you think it could be epic, then it clears and the ML is still there!!  Oh wait, don't imagine, that's reality here on the coast.  Not too long from now it will be consistently better!

Here's the very little color we had, but there was some great wave action going on.
