We've submitted a new article, co-authored with our collaborators at Pfizer.  In the paper, we discuss new 'rule induction' methods that help to find interpretable, multi-parameter rules with which to identify compounds with a higher chance of success. This is illustrated with applications to simple ‘drug like’ properties for oral drugs and exploration of experimental target inhibition data to find rules for selecting compounds with a low risk of cardio- and hepatotoxicity. new research from Optibrium and Lhasa
I've just submitted an article, co-authored with Chris Barber of Lhasa Limited. In it, we discuss how application of expert knowledge-based predictions of toxicity can be used with multi-parameter optimisation, to guide the design and selection of high quality compounds with a reduced risk of toxicity, early in the drug discovery process.
