Thanks Diana Cabal for sharing your #mimijumi success story!

"Thank you Mimijumi for designing your bottle ..after 2 months struggling to get my baby used to get fed using a bottle and spending hundreds of dollar on those fancy's ones, my baby latched perfectly with Mimijumi. Now I am relaxed."

From NursingTimes.net - "A new baby feeding bottle available in the UK is providing much-needed respite for new mothers, thanks to the efforts of one family and a baby who sent a new mum and her mother-in-law on a unique quest – Mum and Granny have now launched a new company to help new mums in a similar position."

We receive several questions each week about washing mimijumi bottles.

The bottle, cap, base and nipple are top rack dishwasher safe with mild detergent. The bottle, cap, base and nipple can be sterilized in boiling water for 5 minutes. Only the nipple can be sterilized in the microwave in a microwave sterilization bag following their instructions.

Having trouble keeping the cap on a mimijumi bottle?

Try these steps to snap the cap on:

STEP 1: Place the lid on top of the nipple. Any angle is fine.
STEP 2: Press down on the back side (furthest from you) of the cap and it will click in.
STEP 3: Now press down a little firmer on the front of the cap (closest to your chest) and it will click down again. The ‘click’ noise on step 3 is usually not as prominent as the ‘click’ noise in step 2.
STEP 4: Turn your bottle upside down and shake. The cap should be firmly in place.

At mimijumi, we love the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Here's a fun craft from Pinterest to make the Very Hungry Caterpillar with your child's handprint.

From Well | The New York Times - "In a study published Monday in the journal Pediatrics, scientists report that infants whose parents sucked on their pacifiers to clean them developed fewer allergies than children whose parents typically rinsed or boiled them. They also had lower rates of eczema, fewer signs of asthma and smaller amounts of a type of white blood cell that rises in response to allergies and other disorders."

If your little one uses a pacifier, will this news change how you clean it?

According to a recent survey of over 7,000 US mothers, "three is the most stressful number of kids." Do you agree?

Introduction

Mission
Simple but extraordinary.

Through the design and production of infant care essentials, mimijumi products are made for both baby and parent to create the most natural experience possible.

Company Overview
Founded by two psychiatrists and an industrial designer, mimijumi's goal is to create new products that will enrich the parenting process.

Created with input from Designers, Mothers, Nurses, Physicians, and Lactation Experts, mimijumi's first product -- the Very Hungry bottle -- was conceived as a natural, modern and stylish complement to breastfeeding. The Very Hungry is the first of an upcoming line of products that are mindful of the ways infants bond with mother.
