If you're looking for a tasty greasy burger or sandwich this is definitely the place to be. I love their teriyaki chicken sandwich and their fry sauce is amazing with their hot fries. I also like how they package their food to go in a donut box instead of a flimsy bag. My one problem with Emmett's is how long it takes to get your food. I know if you want fresh food it takes longer but sometimes it's border-line ridiculous. Bottom line - great food, but don't go if your starving UPDATE! I've had to update my review because it appears that the ownership of this restaurant has changed. I'm not for sure if it has but I went back after a month or so since my last visit and all of the charming neighborhood styled decor had been stripped off of the walls and replaced by a nice thick red line around the place. The restaurant was very dirty and I watched employees prepare food without gloves or hairnets. I'm very sad to report that I won't be going back.

This place really is a tragic story. They used to have some of the best sushi around. Then they started running daily deals with Groupon and started serving "all-you-can eat" sushi. Needless to say the quality of the sushi plummeted. Their other entrees are still very good. But if you want sushi don't go here. Also, their service is consistently poor. We've been several times and every time we've been it's been approaching an hour wait time for our food. On top of that the waitresses aren't very helpful and are borderline neglectful. I hate writing this bad of reviews, but you really are better off going somewhere else for dinner.

I love love love this sushi place! Their food is always so fresh. You really can taste the difference. It's a quite small "home-town" feeling restaurant (which I love). You can really just take it easy and have a conversation over a fantastic meal. This is my favorite family dinner hotspot. The only reason I gave it a 2 out of 3 for service is because of the time it takes for them to bring out your food. Granted, this is a good indicator that they're actually preparing your food fresh but some people might want their food a bit faster.

I LOVE this BBQ joint! It is our new favorite. My favorite menu item is the baby back ribs. They are so tender and flavorful. They really are as good (or better) than most ribs available at full service steakhouses. I also should note that they have the most tasty and creative side sauces. There's this sweet berry barbecue sauce that I have never tasted anything like. And my husband loves their "carolina tangy" mustard sauce. Service isn't exceptional but not bad either. The food's always out in a reasonable time and the help is polite. Don't be fooled by these overly dramatic negative reviews. This is a good family style bbq restaurant and you won't be disappointed.
